The update is pretty sad at this point. The case manager calls about once a week promising me an updated then nothing happens. I / we are taking other action to get this moving. Once it is all completed I will write up what happened and what the current status is. Overall this is just the worst...

OH I have silicate in my weld LOL. I am glad they have acknowledged it but it sounds shady. Rather than address the manufacturing issue and fix the root cause they have the weld is good enough guide. To hell with FCA. This makes me sad.

I was at the dealership and they put it on the lift and they found more. Even they were a bit shocked at what we found. Chrysler and Jeep are involved at this point so now I just wait. Thanks for everyones input! There is a bigger issue with the quality and production going on at this point...

I should have added info... :) I bought this jeep May 6, 2018. It currently has a little over 2600 miles on it. Always kept clean and taken care of stays in the garage. I will be making some calls.

I just got done inspecting mine and I have the same issues around the welds. Its not pretty. Sounds like Jeep is not concerned. This is only a small sampling of what I found.
