No. I drove to destination and then fob locked. When I got back to the Jeep the proximity worked immediately. It worked that way again this morning. So, you want to try remote start, but not drive anywhere? Don’t know if we would ever experience thy situation.

Thank you for posting this work-around!! I would never use remote start because my proximity would be screwed up for a week. I tried this today and locked my Jeep with the fob and my proximity never got screwed up. Thanks again!

I still experience Passive Entry lag after using remote start on the fob. Passive entry goes back to normal after about 24-36 hours.

Have you used remote start right before the problem came up again?

Was the TSB performed today? Did it fix the steering issue you are having?

Ok. I will mention it. I feel my issue isn’t that bad, I can drive with one hand, even on the highway. I do have excessive play and it wanders, I really want to see if that can get resolved.

Mine goes in tomorrow for the steering issue. I called and gave the dealer the TSB# ahead of time. Did this also fix the wandering issue? Thanks!

I’m having the same issue. Everytime I lower the seats the grommets pop out of the gap hider. When I put the seats back up, they pop out again. Have you figured out a solution to this? Thanks! Nick
