21,000 now on my JLU Sahara manual V6 and averaging about 19. Mix of hilly commute and in town driving.
Long trips to MA and FL from PA averaged around 22 at around 70 mph if memory serves correctly.
Loving this Jeep. It's my first and a blast. Can't wait for warmer weather to put the top...
I have a 2018 JLU Sahara soft top manual 6 speed with about 20,500 miles on it. Just hit my one year anniversary. No issues - it's only been to the dealership for oil changes, tire rotations, and inspection. It's a blast on the mild off-roading I've done and through the snow and mud. This is my...
I have 12,650 miles on my JLU Sahara MT. I've driven it from south-central PA to Boston and back twice, and just returned from a down and back to St. Augustine, FL. Zero issues so far!
Things I don't like, from the perspective of a first time Jeep JLU Sahara MT owner:
1) Making a drip edge above the door that channels the floods of the apocalypse inside the dash and floor when the door is opened is just plain stupid. I'm not sure if this is present on hard tops, but my soft...
This is my biggest complaint and if it's not in the "things I don't like about the new JL" it should be. This is one of the dumbest design flaws...I love my Jeep but this is just plain stupid.
I have the premium soft top. Bought in January and have just over 10,000 miles on it. I've done a few long highway trips at 75-80 mph and had no issues.
The week after I got the Jeep I went off road and hit some muddy areas and puddles hard enough to have mud and water running down over the...
I love the leather seats; in the winter they are great, especially heated (along with the steering wheel). I do wish I would have gone withe the tan instead of the black though. To get around it I just throw the top up in safari when we park and that usually keeps them cool enough that it's not...
JLU Sahara MT owner...love it. I really missed having a MT after so long of driving automatics. Even using the "manual" shifting on the automatics was boring. I feel a lot more in control with a MT and definitely think they're way more fun!
I'm a previous 4Runner owner and a current JLU Sahara MT owner. I never had an issue with the 4Runner I owned. It was very reliable. I also haven't had any issues with my JL and it's at 8500 miles. I'm also averaging about 2 mpg (currently averaging 20.5 mpg) over the 4Runner.
This is my first...
Life is short. Buy what makes you happy.
I have 2 kids now hitting their teen years. I had some nice SUVs and a few trucks then went practical. It was a waste of money and a mistake. We have more fun in the JLU Sahara than I think we've had in any vehicle. I've got almost 9000 miles on it and...
I drove a JLU and JKU Sahara along with a JK Rubicon and chose the JLU Sahara. Not regretting it a bit. Really liked the changes on the JLs and about the only thing that's a minus is waiting for the aftermarket parts, but I expected it would be awhile. FWIW this is my first Jeep, and I'm loving...
I didn't plan on getting one, but one of my kids just started medication that makes them extremely sensitive to sunlight. I was going to try a shade to keep her from having to wear sunblock to go for a cruise in the Jeep.
I really like the looks of the SpiderWebShade and JTop but am just...
