  1. Unseated Upper Control Arm Bushing

Did you figure out what this was? I am currently having this issue and it's not cool.
  2. Need Guidance on Lift Kits and other suspension parts for new Rims & Tires

You can run 35's with stock sahara suspension but you;d want to raise your bump stops so your tire doesn't rip you fender liner off if you hit a big bump. Consider doing a rubicon suspension swap, it'll lift your jeep around 1.5" and you'd have the clearance you need. Plus i'm sure you could...
  3. Metal cloak 3.5 and death wobble

The stock drag link and tie rod bushings have some play which becomes more prominent when using big heavy tires. Beef up your tie rod and drag link with a yeti, make sure your caster is set appropriately and the issue should go away.
  4. Driving without Sway Bar Disconnects?

During the warm weather months I keep my front sway bar disconnected and zip tie the sway bar/links out of the way. I'll adjust my shocks dampeners to stiffen them up a bit, but I really like how smooth it feels going over bumps or dirt roads. I'm also not a very aggressive driver so that...
  5. Need advice on order of lift components

Adjusting your caster angle would help remedy some of the loose feel in the steering. You could really get that dialed in with adjustable front upper and lower control arms. Any squirrely feeling after that is likely due to looseness in the steering joints so you'd want a new tie rod and drag...
  6. Question about Custom Rig on Lot, Rip-off? Can I do this for cheaper?

For $10k you should be able to get a suspension lift, tires, wheels, lights, and a tazer, all top of the line..... assuming you do the work yourself. Could likely buy all the tools you'd need too. It's a fine looking rig but you can do better for less $ but may require more elbow grease. Good...
  7. Which one would you buy

Question, do you think this is, or could be one of those situations where you buy the Jeep for her but a couple months down the road you end up taking the Jeep and getting her a Range Rover? If that is the case, then I think you know the answer. Good luck!
  8. Rangemasters JL Diesel Build

Those Kings are pretty, great build!
  9. Adjustable or Fixed Lower Control Arms?

Go with adjustable control arms. I run the MC GC's and they seem so much more robust than the stock mopar control arms. It's inherent that more parts means more possible points of failure but with an adjustable setup you can really fine tune your geometry for superior handling both on and off road.
  10. Teraflex, Mopar or JKS lift and why?

Do yourself a favor, dish out a little more cash and get a lift with all new control arms (8), track bars (2), and sway bar links (4), all should be adjustable. You'll be able to fine tune your geometry much more so that it'll handle much better on and off road. Good luck with your build. Post...
  11. Winter Shocks.....suggestions?

I'll pick some up and give it a try. Thank you for the advice.
  12. Winter Shocks.....suggestions?

Tell me more about this fluid film. This is a product you apply to everything?
  13. Winter Shocks.....suggestions?

I live in the Northeast where they use loads of salt on the roads and parking lots. I've found that the couplings on my ADS remote reservoir shocks were a little corroded after last winter from all the salt and I'm wanting to get some new shocks just for winter use. Based on what I've read, I'm...
  14. Thoughts on this combo?

Congrats on your new jeep, sounds like you're going to have a sweet build. Careful with re-gearing so aggressively, especially if it's a daily driver. The rubicon can get away with 37's and 4.10 gears but we've all read that a 4.88 or even 5.13 gears do make a nice difference rock crawling. It...
  15. What would you do to your Jeep with $5k?

    Winch, 4.56 gears, 35's
  16. What do I need to do in order to fit 35s?

You don't need a lift kit to fit 35" tires under a rubicon. Also, please do not pay 10k for the mopar mall crawler lift kit. For that price you could have a legit off road shop install a top of the line mid arm lift kit and still have extra left over for a bumper, winch, and squadron pro...
  17. Texas Free to Good Home

I have some RockHard4x4 patriot downturned rails in my garage just outside Albany that someone is welcome to, just gotta come grab em.
  18. What size are deez nuts?

On either side of each body mount bolt, there are two nuts. What size are those nuts? Mine rusted and I would like to replace them when I install new rock sliders. Any insight is much appreciated.
