Anyone around and interested in possibly Hells Revenge and Poison Spider? Might do a senior ride to potash road or Gemini bridges road. Anyone available or interested? I've got a stock 2018 JLUR and have to drive back to Chicago on Saturday.
Let me know!!
Bought a used top from someone who was selling their Jeep to a dealer. He forgot to take off the two "bow" brackets on the roll bar in the trunk. Anyone have a pair to sell? Dealer said they are backordered. Can put it on without them. Planning a trip in first week of June that I wanted the soft...
I just did the trip from Chicago to Moab in May. It isn't that bad. Leave at 4 or 5 in the afternoon, drive through the night and you will be there the next afternoon. You also get boring Nebraska at night, then sunrise with the mountains. And would have made me feel bad I didn't take my Jeep...
Just got here, in for a week. Anyone want to show us around on some fun, family off roading? Looks like Cades Cove and some mountain road off of there. Happy for suggestions!
If you go a little further and into MI, you can grab a permit and run the ATV trails. Get a map at a local gas station, it tells you what roads allow a Jeep. There aren't a lot of Jeeps on them, and nothing difficult. But fun riding through the forest fire roads.
Just got back from there a few weeks ago. First time out and did Find and Things. Fun, scary, easy?? Also did Pucker Pass, which was nice up, until 1 rutted out sandy spot. And did the trail out toward Chicken Corners, just to the pass at the top.
Thanks for the info. I was looking at the Jeep trail app and didn't notice anything about paying? Is it in one of the state or national parks? Something I get in advance or day of?
Headed from Chicago out to do a 3 day gravel grinder bike ride from Grand Junction, CO to Moab, UT. Planning to hang in Moab on from Sunday until Tuesday morning. Looking at doing Chicken Corners and maybe Find and Things. I have a stock '18 JLUR. Meeting friends who might rent a Jeep to go...
How long of a day was it? I am headed out in May and see that there are no camping permits available online. I don't think I would need to stop all the time, so could probably go in 1 day.
I notice you said you you have a manual. When I get on it, a warning shoots up on the dash about no shift to 1st gear allowed. Can you shut that off? So annoying. And exhaust sounds good!
I have had the premium version for 1.5 years. No leaks, awesome. Goes through power car washes regularly. No issues. Makes taking the hardtop off a little more difficult, but goes back on quickly.
My Dad borrowed the Jeep to take the kids to a movie. He said it was really odd on one start up. Jeep fired up but loudly revved the engine up to redline and back like it was trying to blow itself up. 2018 JLUR manual transmission. I never experienced this until tonight. It was surprising to say...
So same with me, but I have even less to choose from on the left side. Called the Jeep Wave # and amazingly spoke to the same girl two hours apart, and she couldn't help me. I guess I will try again, but who to call? I tried the chat window, and was on for 20 minutes with someone who made 6...
See I think I must not be registered for the Jeep wave acct. I thought I clicked everything back in June, but it set up a Mopar acct. When I go to jeep.com/wave it has a login or register button. If I click register, it takes me to the Mopar acct and my login and password populate (via Google...
