I did notice that if I start the engine and move the gear selector from park to drive a couple of times (without actually moving the jeep) then stopping the engine, next start up didnt make the sound again?
Mine does the same but not quite as loud, sounds like it's coming from the undercarriage like the transmission area... still haven't figured it out. I signed for a 2018 Black JL. Right after signing we went to the mall started it up and POP, so we took it back and they switched us out no...
Do you guys think it’s possible to drain the overflow, radiator, engine, and heater core by simply draining the radiator (through the valve) closing it and refilling with distilled water and repeating the process over and over again till there is nothing but water in the system? (I know there...
Also do you think I need a radiator flush or a full system flush!? Full system I won’t attempt myself and probably costs upwards of $450 (radiator, engine and heater core flush)
Idk it was about a half an inch below the minimum line on the overflow tank? Just thought I would tip it off... I was told the minimum should be when the engine was cold and the max level was when the enigine was warm... idk how I lost coolant in the first place, I always check under my vehicles...
Thanks! Do you by chance know how to fill it up correctly? Considering I’ve done flushes before (fill up the radiator first etc.... the overflow... bleed it....) but there is no radiator cap? The overflow cap acts as both?
I was too much in a hurry and forgot to put the reservoir cap back on (it said a rated for 21 psi.) Well the whole trip it was circulating fine, no overheating or anything, but when I shut off the engine the hot coolant went rushing back up to the overflow tank and well it all game out.... well...
Well my initial thought was to drain, fill it all the way up with distilled water, run the engine till warm, drain the distilled water then add correct fluid?
Hello everyone, so something dumb happened, but everyone makes mistakes. I don’t know what I was thinking but I topped off my overflow tank (coolant) on my JL before going on a 60 mile (45 min) trip for a fireman’s convention. Well night guy here forgot to put the lid back on the tank and the...

They said they lifted the console, however I picked the Jeep up right before they closed and the mechanic that worked on mine already left. I never got a chance to talk to the guy
i will post the picture in a bit. There was about a 3-4 inch gap between the fender and tire. I got the 2.5 inch suspension lift by skyjacker. People say skyjacker has a bad rep but I actually think their new products are good quality
I fit 285/75s on stock JL Sport S with no lift... never rubbed on me, however I immediately bought a 2.5 inch suspension lift and it looks amazing now...
It was unhooked, took it to the shop yesterday and they fixed it after the alignment... had them do it, if the brakes get loose again I just take it to them and they will redo it for free...
I unclipped my brake cable in order to make room for my lift also, now my emergency brake handle is loose... I never pulled the cables, just unclipped them and clipped them back on... really irritated idk if I have to adjust the handle somehow or the drum brake...
