  1. 392 2.0 Shocks on 4xe Rubicon

I think they are probably a good candidate as they are the right length for the 4XE from what I can gather. If you have a set handy like I did I would say give them a shot and see how they ride. Unlike springs most JL aftermarket shocks are sold by the length/lift not the specific powertrain. If...
  2. 392 2.0 Shocks on 4xe Rubicon

I have both a 392 Rubicon and a 2024 2 Door Rubicon and did use my Fox 392 take offs on the two door. The Rubicon 392 Fox shocks are roughly 1 inch longer than the stock red Rubicon shocks. I installed a Teraflex 1.5 spacer lift (1.5 rear/ 1 inch front), 35 in tires, 1 inch of additional bump...
  3. Aftermarket not ready for the 2024 Jeep Wranglers!

I've had the same issue with my 2024. For the Spiderweb shade I swapped enough screws from my 2022 wrangler to complete the install. Screws are the same thread size but the heads are bigger on the 2024. For the Lasfit hood latch I attached the control box to the filler panel under the steering...
  4. How Can We Help?

No I reused the same lock cylinder. There are various videos on YouTube for rekeying the gas cap and door cylinders. They use similar springs and pins.
  5. Firecracker JLUR full build by Doetsch Offroad

Thanks for the quick reply. I have the same inner fenders installed and shocks on order. Doesn't look like there was too much trimming and you can't even tell by looking at your pics that there was any trimming.
  6. Firecracker JLUR full build by Doetsch Offroad

Did those Teraflex shocks work with the road armor front and rear inner fenders without any cutting or modifications?
  7. Door Lock Cylinder Removal?

My go to is https://www.yourmoparparts.com/ but that's mainly because they are 1 state over. There are lots of dealers selling online just Google that Mopar part number.
  8. Door Lock Cylinder Removal?

    Door rekey video
  9. Door Lock Cylinder Removal?

Thanks for the quick reply. That's sort of what I figured. Got the part number 68384449AB for the cylinder from the dealer but they couldn't confirm if it came with the pins to key it. I may attempt to put together an abbreviated video that doesn't expose my key combination to help someone else out.
  10. Door Lock Cylinder Removal?

I'm in the process of rekeying a set of half doors as well. Did you ever get around to putting together a video? Is the keying process anything like keying the Mopar keyed gas cap?
  11. Texas Sold: Mopar JLU/JT Half Doors Firecracker Red

PM me if you have a set of 4 Firecracker red half doors you are looking to sell. Premium uppers preferred.
  12. Modifications to the Springtail Solutions rear seat delete platform

Forgot I had posted this, A year and a half later and I have never put the rear seats back in. Really like this setup and have spent many nights on overlanding trips sleeping in the back. I add additional support to the outer edges when I plan on sleeping on the platform. All the storage...
  13. Modifications to the Springtail Solutions rear seat delete platform

I had several things coated at the same time (Slipstream, Inner fenders) so I just got an overall cost which honestly I don't recall. That was so many Jeep upgrades ago :). Can't imagine it being too expensive given the simplicity to coat a single flat panel.
  14. 35" and 37" JL pics with lift kit

Rock Krawler 2.5 Lift with 37x12.5X17 BFG K02 , Fuel Rebel Bronze Wheels
  15. Clunking sound with sway bar disconnects

I had the same issue with the Gen 1 Rock Krawler JL front sway bar links and they just seemed to be prone to clunking under stress. I switched to the Gen 2 RK swaybar links which have an added offset and can be completely removed without any tools as there are quick release pins on both ends. I...
  16. track bar/ sector shaft brace

I love Steersmarts hardware. I have their Tie Rod and Drag Link currently and just ordered their front trackbar to replace my current aftermarket one. Their stuff is well built\engineered. Hell even their packaging is better than most of their competitors lol. Will be interesting to see what...
  17. track bar/ sector shaft brace

The grease from the fitting is coming in from the O.D. and the original problem is the bushing spinning out of position with the grease fitting preventing grease from entering the I.D. through the one tiny hole provided by Synergy. By adding the groove to the O.D. the position of the hole...
  18. Sleeping in the back

I'm 6'2 and sleep in the rear diagonally with no issues. That is with the seat pushed all the way forward.
  19. track bar/ sector shaft brace

I agree bad design, I Added my own groove. Damm thing started groaning 3 days into a 7 day overlanding trip and the bushing spun out of position. Had only been installed 3 weeks at that point and was hand greased and greased via the fitting upon install and it still dried up. Spoke to Synergy...
