Check my issue. Sounds like the same thing. I had a manual and it felt like it was in limp mode. It turned out to be a loose pin in the wiring harnes. The dealer replace the fuel pump, fuel pump relay, fuel line, and PCM before tracing it to a loose pin in the harness...

Was done on 11/9/2018, pick up on 11/10/2018.
Was cold here in MD dealership went to start it and it would not start. They traced it to a loose pin in the harness. Still have not heard from FCA. My only concern is that electrical gremlins follow vehicles and 2 or 3 years something else...
I have notified FCA about the start of the process for maybe buy back. It seems now that my contact from @JeepCares is not returning my calls now. The at the dealer it seems no one ever wants to pick up the phone when I call. I call about once a week.
Well I have done nothing with my JL this week. The dealer has had it for more than 30 days.

I'm in Maryland and with the rainy weather this summer I have only had the doors off for about 6 days. It has only happened with the door on. The top has been up and down.
