Unfortunately, with FCA/Jeep, RV and MF are based on current rates as of delivery. This is true for most manufacturers, the only exception to my knowledge is BMW, which allows for RV and MF lock at time of order.
Sorry I can’t help you on current RV, but your selling dealer should be able to...
Sounds like the export model. Some international markets require orange turn signals. Check out this picture of the JL at an auto show in Europe. Does this look like the tail light you’re referencing?
This is not uncommon and doesn’t sound like a scam. As you noted, having your spouse co-sign is the easy answer to keep terms (MF) the same without going into tier 2 with a higher MF.
A reduction in MF to .00208 and a decrease in selling price to 42500 (11% discount from MSRP) saves you about $40/month. I don’t know CCAP base Tier 1 MF this month but I recall it being at or close to .00208 (4.99%). Related to MSRP, others have been at the 10-11% discount range. The numbers...
Took me about 5 weeks. I called a few times and they said they didn’t see my VIN in their system, so I just waited. My first bill showed two payments due, payment for month 2 and month 3 (month 1 was paid at delivery).
There are some slight differences, including a difference in the tow hooks (JLU has pointy tip, JK is squared off) Mostly small changes overall, but if you compare close up photos, you may notice the small differences.
The LED headlight arrived to the body shop on time, it was not back ordered... though several other parts were. Interested if this could be a successful workaround for those who want an LED conversion.
Trackbar for the win.
The frame has two posts that stick out and the trackbar runs through it. The passenger side post was pushed towards the back and down, pulling the trackbar from its normal position. The collision shop is going to pull the frame which should fix the issue.
My version of this story is similar. 4 lane highway, driver in front goes from 55+ to 0.
JLU with steel bumper. Impact was likely Jeep at 35 mph, Xterra at 0-10 mph.
$6,000 in repair cost to the Jeep but no injuries; I’ll take that as a win.
While I don’t generally put money down on a lease, I understand your position on keeping the same payment. (If Jeep is ever totaled, you lose the down payment)
Not knowing if the 35k is MSRP or selling price, you’re at about $14,725 total lease cost, which on average is $377/month. It hasn’t...
Any suggestions on what could be bent given the OK on the alignment check, or how it would normally be investigated to figure out which component set has been bent (suspension, axle, frame, steering, etc)? ... in other words, what should I ask them to do, given the end result of my first...
All,
After a recent front end collision with damage focused on right front end, my JLU was drivable, but the steering wheel was no longer centered. To go straight, I had to turn the wheel to an 11 o’clock position. Holding at 12 o’clock would pull the vehicle right.
After explaining this to the...
If it’s helpful, my JLU was in a front end collision last week which damaged the following parts: steel bumper, LED fog lamp, 1 tow hook, grill, fender (upper and lower), LED turn signal, radiator, and LED headlight on the passenger side.
The collision shop said they ordered everything last...
My experience has also shown .00193 is the standard MF for top tier for CCAP. Standard MF does not generally shift much month to month. On my 2015 JKU lease, “standard MF” was also .00193.
Where I have seen is a change over the last 1-2 years is what qualifies as “top tier”... used to be...
