My 2018 jlus still has the original aluminum steering box and seems to steer fine. It has almost 36,000 mi now and I have not noticed a change in steering since new. They did install a new steering stabilizer under a tsb and I never noticed a difference.

Look at the frame welds, especially on the track bar mounts. There was a recall on this but most of the frames were not included and fca's definition of a good weld is lacking.

My 3.6 was overfilled twice. Probably ran for around 2000 mi total overfilled. I had a sensor on the top front of each valve cover that was leaking oil. Not sure if this was related to overfilling or not. For what it's worth I was given a rentel jl with the 3.6 and the same sensors were leaking.

I have the standard halogen on my jl and they are pleanty brite enough. So much so I had to aim them down a bit because people kept brighting me.

Called dealer today and was told that jeep is aware of radio issues they've had a lot of complaints. I guess they are spose to come out with a software update to fix problem. I was told they did not have a time frame when update would be avalible.

$2800 was dealer cost i was told. I could of waited but was quoted $3600 if i waited. The lifetime warranty is non transferable, I'm not sure if the other time/mi warranties are transferable. I purchased my jl from auburn dodge chrysler in auburn indiana.

Mine is Feb 18 with 2000mi and so far no problems

Just curious what does your oil pressure run on 3.6l engine.

On a warm engine following owners manual directions.

Checked the oil on new 3.6l and level was around 3/8 inch over full mark on factory fill. Anyone else run into this. Is it a problem?

Drove it a few hours later and back to normal

Mine was about 1mph off for about 500mi then today noticed it was about 3mph off at 50mph. Hopefully it will change back eventually.

Dislikes..... 3.6 engine is kind of noisy, windshield likes bugs, when it rains water drips into interior when doors are opened

So I checked with dealer and they were not concerned. They said the 3.6l is just a noisy engine and were only woried if noise was coming from top of engine as in valve noise.

I seem to be getting a slight knocking sound at idle. It gets a little worse if I'm stoped and in gear. Anyone else have this?
