Bought a draw tight JK hitch, knocked off the two outer nuts and bolted it on. $53 on e-bay. The switch kit is a few hundred extra. The alternator is pointless, with only minimal increase in power. I made it a point not to order the tow pkg, and installed my hitch literally 30 min after I...
We were told on Monday we were in Nashville KZ. Then today he checked, and we were KZ LD and showed being in Yale TN. at 4:06 am today. Dealer says that shows movement. I am afraid we were moved to a storage lot awaiting rail.
I am in Nashville as well. My dealer says it is in KZLD. KZL means released but not shipped. No one seems to know what the D means. Jeep cares says shipping will be delayed due to high volume. So I assume D means delay. Nashville AKA Yale TN. seems to be another rail holding yard.
Update, we were told on 5/21 the Jeep is in Nashville. Jeep cares says "expect shipping delays". Dealer says a week and a half seems to be the standard from Nashville to Arkansas.
Build sheet on Tuesday, sticker on Thursday. Ordered on 4/18. My dealer notified me on Wednesday, we are KZ status. Granite JKUR, auto, black hard top, cold weather, leather, proximity. Thanks for putting this together @Yakpimp !
I'm in D1 also. Just chatted with them. They encouraged me to check back in a few days. I have also used the new service. They answer their emails in 2 or 3 days.
I was at the Conway store Saturday. They just got a Granite JLUR in. They told me it was a special order but the guy backed out, and I could buy it. Too bad I have one starting build next week (according to Jeep's new service).
I personally prefer the Rubicon. I have a Sahara TJ right now, with a limited slip rear and a lunch box locker front. I have had Rubicons in the past and have one on order right now. The Rock track is an awesome transfer case with more than enough gear reduction for crawling and running...
These two vehicles are not even in the same class. One is designed as a luxury jeep, and the other a more than capable rock crawler. Yes, I have owned versions of both models. No the limited slip is not at all like the lockers in the rocks. The larger brakes are related to the largest tires...
