  1. Daily driving 37’s

I have the Cooper STT Pro's and while the Jeep itself handles them without a sweat, I would get a less aggressive tread if I had to do it over. I drive a lot on the highway and didn't realize how loud they would be. I know, they aren't as loud as other mud tires but for me, on long trips, they...
  2. Alignment shops in MA or RI ?

Hey guys, im having a hell of a time finding a shop in MA or RI that will do an alignment and adjust my LCA's. Most shops won't touch them. Anyone have a shop that is mod friendly and knows how to do an alignment and will adjust LCA's??
  3. Amazon sent me two Racor lifts...

Since you posted asking what you should do, my opinion is to send it back and make sure they don't refund you. I believe that this would best represent the Jeep community. I understand some may feel different, to each their own! I'm a firm believer in karma :)
  4. Hard Top Squeaking?

for me and a few others , the squeaking is coming from the long rubber seal that is on the bottom of your rear glass window and where it meets up with the tail gate. try putting something grease-like on it and see if it goes away for awhile.
  5. Extending the spare tire bump stops

i went to home depot plumbing section. they sell 2" lengths of 1" round PVC which fits into the stock bump stop perfectly. i then used a 1 1/2" PVC cap (located right in the same section) to cap the PVC pipe off so i didn't damage the tire. I made sure i had the right length by loosening up the...
  6. What side steps / rock rails to add to JL Wrangler?

thanks for the replies everyone and for the record, in no way was I saying I'm unhappy with ROAM...just wanted to make sure my order was all set.
  7. What side steps / rock rails to add to JL Wrangler?

can anyone that ordered the Roam side steps let me know if they got an email confirmation from Roam after their order ? I placed an order yesterday, I got the PayPal notification but nothing from Roam directly.
  8. Opinions what should I do it now or wait Lift and 37

The 37" BF Goodrich K02 is the smallest and lightest 37 on the market and may be contributing to being able to fit on his set up. If you are seeking confirmation that a 37" will fit with plastic bumper, run the K02's like OnlyOne posted pictures of.
  9. Opinions what should I do it now or wait Lift and 37

A 37 won't fit without a relocation bracket. I installed the Mopar reinforcement and relocation kit myself, also sourced the two parts online separately and they came to 750 total. I wouldn't put the spare on without reinforcement. The install isn't difficult, there are some great youtube videos...
  10. Max tailgate Hinge Weight

I think 5 gallons of fuel is fine. The Mopar oversize spare tire reinforcement allows me to carry a 37" tire on a heavier rim, but the reinforcement doesn't actually touch the hinges. In my opinion, Jeep is telling me that i can add a bigger tire (which are always heavier) and that the hinges...
  11. Park sensors with 37’ rear tire

Sounds like it may be specific to the plastic rear bumper? I assume the sensors are all in the same location as the steel. I have a 37" Cooper STT Pro mounting a 4" backspace with the Mopar spare relocation bracket. I have no issues with the sensors and my spare is sticking out a good 6-7" from...
  12. 35" and 37" JL pics with lift kit

Had about a 60 mile round trip, mix of highway and city driving on some total shit roads in the city, overall i have to say Im really impressed. The ride is pretty soft, to me its softer than stock. When I was compressing the Rough Country shocks vs. the stock take-offs, the RC shocks were much...
  13. 35" and 37" JL pics with lift kit

I put this in the Sting-Gray thread but wanted to put it here incase anyone was thinking of this combo. I don't have many miles on the combo but the shocks are pretty soft. The shocks are about 2" longer at full extension than the OE shocks I took off. Rough Country 2.5" Spacer lift W/Rough...
  14. STING GRAY Wrangler JL Club

Installed the Rough Country 2.5" Spacer lift w/ Rough Country shocks as well as 37x12.5 Cooper STT Pros on 17" XD-301 Wheels (-12 offset). The ride is good, need some more seat time to give a full review but the shocks that came with the kit are very soft and the 12.5 STT Pro's are D rated so I...
  15. The dreaded JB freeze

I know all situations are different. On 4/6 I ordered from Dan's in Westborough, MA. Accoriding to the Jeep JL Hotline, im in shipped status but not ETA for delivery. They can't see the detail that the dealer can. The dealer has detailed tracking showing my Jeep hit the East Brookfield, MA rail...
  16. The dreaded JB freeze

probably waiting on some form of transportation , your dealer has access to more specific info. Where did you buy from?
  17. STING GRAY Wrangler JL Club

I don't think the all black look good in that wheel. The grey looks better in that design but may not look right with the sting grey color, not sure why but thats just my hunch.
  18. STING GRAY Wrangler JL Club

Thanks to all who posted pictures in all different conditions. Color looks amazing!!!
  19. STING GRAY Wrangler JL Club

Damn man. I wouldn't have believed my build status if I didn't personally see it on the screen at the dealership. My build is a little different from yours since you're a manual trans / painted fenders , but other than that mostly the same stuff. Hope you get good news soon!
