Mine is usually always in second gear to first gear no throttle. Usually the loudest between 20 and 10mph. I'll have to upload my diagnoses. They say it is the clutch plate and it's a normal noise as the other JLs they tested had the same noise. They had it for over a week and found nothing...
Just got mine back from the dealer. They said they checked out everything. The U joint and the rear are supposedly perfect. They said the nkisenisnthe clutch plate when the accelerator is not engaged. But it sounds rotational. Atleast I have a paper trail now.
I have a Sahara with anti slip, I do think its Dana 44. Read the forum. Im due for an oil change this weekend I will have them check it out but doesnt look good
I have the same noise when im decelerating with no throttle at low speeds. I thought it was coming from my right front wheel but that video sounds identical. Is this normal?
The Sahara and Rubicon have different grilles than the sport. The inserts on ebay are for the sport and they just go on the front. For the sahara and rubicon the "accents" and snapped in through the back into the rivets in the grille that the sports dont have and require you to take the who...
Good to know, mine is normally right on point now, however every once in a while im 2 to 3mph over on the speedo, but I am running bigger tires. Next dealer visit ill see if they can reflash. I also notice when this happens and i start up the needle isnt exactly on point at 0
Problem was solved. The aftermarket stuff i got did not have a software update for the newest models. Once they got their update and reprogrammed the sensors all was good.
pixldecals, had them custom make it for the hood. Already got in contact with them, they are going to make a new one for me eventually so ill leave it on till then. They said the JL and JK dimensions are so different. The next batch they will keep the same size fire crackers and enlarge the letters
Whisk I would have taken a picture before the install. It was like a 2cm square and def coukd see the layer of primer. However we should be fine. I'd be more worried about the bumper then the grill with chipping since its lower to the ground
Its def primer. Mine had a spot that was chipped on an area that isnt seen from the outside and there was a grayish black u underneath. Its a thin coat.
