I have for sale a Banks Pedal Monster for a 3.0 diesel Jeep. It worked well in my 2021 JLURD, but I had to trade in the jeep for something bigger for the family.
Price is $165 shipped.
This is my first time selling on this board. I do have an account on AR15.com with a 100% rating with 40...
I took the Jeep to the dealership today. They said that they could not replicate the issue ( its not snowing out). I showed them the photos, the videos, and several posts from this thread. They said none of that proves anything. They said I can make a case with jeep, but they said they have...
You are probably right. I would just like to see them fix it since it is still under warranty. I am thinking if they don't, then I will get some nice new aftermarket fender liners.
I already put some more weather stripping under the hood as that was cheap and easy to do.
Made a service appointment with another dealership. They told me that they have never heard of this problem, so they aren't sure if they can help. I told them I understand they haven't seen it, but that doesn't mean it's not a problem. Hoping for a fix, but we will see. So far a Jeep warranty...
Adv_aw8s and Somedude922, you guys solved the puzzle i think.
I placed my gopro in the wheel well today. As soon as I hit highway speeds, the fender liner folds up exposing the engine. I am going to take the jeep and the video to the dealership and get some new fender liners.
I am really thinking you guys are on to something. Here are some pictures from the passenger side fender liner that appear to show some wear.
I am going to try placing a gopro camera in the wheel well and taking the jeep down the highway to see if the fender liner is opening up.
I appreciate your guys help. Still not exactly sure what it may be and without it snowing it's hard to trouble shoot it.
My guess right now is the fenders, but it's just a guess. I am going to add some more weather stripping around the hood and see if that helps.
Luckily, we are supposed to...
I kind of find it hard to believe that it is a temperature issue as many other Jeeps seem to be doing okay in even colder areas (Canada). Also, the last storm was in the upper twenties here.
Everything in the Jeep is stock and I am the original owner.
The Jeep is stored inside a garage. The pictures are after driving the Jeep and immediately opening the hood after putting the jeep back in the garage.
Nothing had been removed from the Jeep.
The dealership claimed they have...
I have a 2021 JLURD that I purchased in June of 2021. In December of 2022, I was on a road trip during a snowstorm. During this storm, the engine compartment filled with snow until snow completely clogged the airbox and messed up the electronics in the engine. The jeep then spent the next month...
