Selling an OBDLINK MX+ Bluetooth OBD scanner/writer. Purchased off Amazon for $140 and used with JScan one time. No longer have the jeep and don’t have a need for the OBD scanner. It’s Bluetooth and works well. Used it to change the the HVAC settings when I upgraded the radio from the 5” to the...
Selling my 7" Connect Radio + Bezel Trim piece. Very good condition, has a small scratch (roughly 1cm in length, pic attached) that you can see when the screen is off, but does not impact functionality and is unnoticeable during operation.
I have the unlock code from the dealer and will provide...
I'm getting ready to sell my Wrangler JL and I upgraded the 5" radio to the 7" radio with CarPlay.
Now that I am selling, I wanted to try to recover some of the cost of the radio upgrade by reselling to another user.
The problem is I have had no luck with getting a radio unlock code. I...
It is not "plug and play", but can relatively easily be installed. You'll need JScan to change the HVAC module from Manual to Auto.
If you're planning on upgrading the radio from the 5" to one of the CarPlay compatible ones (7" or 8.4") and want the volume / climate physical controls, this is...
the sun sensor / cabin temp sensor will make the AUTO feature work much better during the colder months... considering it looks like you're in Florida, you might not need to use the heat much so it might not be that big of a deal. Without the additional sensors, your HVAC will either blow hot or...
Not sure with Tazer, but with JScan, you go to the following: Adaptations -> MISC SETTINGS (HVAC Configuration). Change the HVAC configuration to the compatible control stack that you installed (most likely dual zone)
I have the opposite problem now. I flashed my jeep with the OBDGenie tool to get the climate controls working with the 7" radio. I am thinking about selling my jeep and wanted to put back the 5" radio and the old climate controls. To my surprise... they no longer work. Has anyone experienced...
I have a 2018 JL Sport S and have the in cabin sensor connector. Looks identical to the pics from @Jgroux. Interested to see how this turns out and will be looking forward to seeing if it's as easy as buying the sensor and plugging it in.
The part number is "ACCLD". I got mine from another member (@JJexp) and paid OBDGenie $50 to add extra VIN# to the programmer. I purchased the climate control stack from MyMoparParts for ~$150.
Now everything on the 7" radio works including climate controls, auto climate, etc.
I like to pull the panel off from under the steering wheel. It gives a little more clearance to get your hands in there and plug/unplug those connectors. It seems a little stiff the first time, but you just pull straight towards the seat and it comes off, held in by a couple clips.
I do this every 6 months. On the last day of the subscription, call and tell them you want to cancel. They will come back with a counter offer. Say no again and explain that cost is too high for what it's worth. They will come back with an even lower offer. Their best deal is somewhere around...
