I installed the rough county steering stabilizer and I removed it after 200 miles.
When I go over a rough patch of road or a railroad track the steering vibrates so violently I almost lost control and my watch was almost shaken out of my wrist.
I double checked the torque settings and and it...
I have multiple friends and clients with Mclaren 720S and ALL of them have issues with the gorilla glass cracking easily on the top of their roof.
Mclaren has been dealing with a nightmare situation with replacements and unhappy clients.
I would never recommend this as an option to anyone...
Wow 36 pages of owners complaining about this issue and I am surprised Jeep has not formally responded to this topic.
I feel like this is a hotter topic than the off road pages being missing as it makes the driving almost unbearable on freeways.
1. Wind noise is excessively loud
2. Steering is vague and boaty
3. Leather seats are terrible quality
4. Mopar Lift kit Springs bow
5. Rear seats headrest gets in the way of baby car booster seats
When freeway driving in my raptor I am easily doing 90-100mph and it feels like I am only doing 60mph.
When driving at 60mph in my rubicon it sounds and feels like I am doing 100mph lolll.
If anyone wants to do Warn Zeon you need to get either the JCR, Mopar or Warn winch plate due to the massive size of the Zeon winch.
I am currently stuck with my Rusty’s winch plate and bought the JCR one which I am installing Monday with my Zeon Platinum winch and really hope I won’t have any...
I have both and the raptor is far more comfortable and much faster than my Rubicon.
I don’t see how a Jeep can beat a Raptor in any category besides rock crawling off road, pricing or looks which is quite a subjective discussion.
If I had to choose one it would objectively be a raptor IMHO.
My JL still drifts around on freeways and I have to catch it sometimes or I am starting to go into other lanes.
It’s my first Jeep so I am still getting used to this steering that a lot of JK owners seem to be accustomed to already as it’s apparently a “Jeep” thing.
