I noticed a small cut/scrape on the sidewall less than half an inch. I am very careful in not scraping curbs so may have happened on the road changing lanes and getting a scrape from some damaged road reflector maybe. But any who, is my tire still good, and damage only cosmetic I hope?

In manual transmission JLUR, as I am braking for oncoming traffic signal, and press on the clutch pedal to bring vehicle into neutral, I get this weird vibration in the clutch pedal. Anyone else feel the same thing? Happens only when clutch pedal pressed during braking.
