  5. 35" and 37" JL pics with lift kit

Great to hear. I got the EVO 2.5” Stage 3 lift with shock extensions. It includes the adjustable lower front and upper rear control arms. Now just waiting for our JLUR to be delivered to the dealership so I can install the lift, Mopar tailgate reinforcement and spare tire relo kits, then 17”...
  6. FIRECRACKER RED Wrangler JL Club

Looks great! What size wheels and offset?
  7. 35" and 37" JL pics with lift kit

So, a question for you: How does it ride with the EVO 2.5 lift? Did you get it with the shock extensions? I had pulled the trigger on a Skyjacker 3.5-4" Lift kit late last week, but actually cancelled my order this morning... just worried that it would be too extreme for my use case. Interested...
  8. FIRECRACKER RED Wrangler JL Club

When you say “at 70 not as much fun”, please elaborate... not as smooth a ride? Wandering? Tire noise?
  9. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Hey Chris, Thanks again for the info. I ordered the Skyjacker 4” lift with M95 shocks today... looking into the adjustable control arms you recommended. What do you know about Rusty’s products? They look decent and are about half the cost of the EVO units. I also ordered the Mopar tailgate...
  10. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Thanks for the reply- much appreciated! Looks like it lifted you a tad more than the EVO lift... is that accurate? Also, are you considering the EVO adjustable control arms? If so, pardon my ignorance this is the first Jeep I will be lifting, will you need two for the front and four rear?
  11. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

VERY interested to see what you think of this lift kit... was about to pull the trigger on an EVO 2.5" Stage 2 with shock extensions for my JLUR that is on order.
  12. Northridge4x4's Firecracker Red 2018 JLUR Build

Great! Do you guys have access to the new EVO Stage 2 kit with shock extensions? Is it worth going that route, or should I just do the basic 2.5” stage 1 if my intention is to use the Jeep for road trips and occasional use on the Beach to go surf fishing? In other words, no aggressive off road...
  13. Northridge4x4's Firecracker Red 2018 JLUR Build

Love this build! I have the same JLUR (Firecracker Red matching top and fenders) on order and am looking at the EVO 2.5” Stage 2 boost for my lift. May I ask- what size wheels and offset are you running? I plan to run 37” Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 17” wheels, want to make sure they will fit...
  14. Thoughts on 17" versus 18" wheels on JLUR?

All- As I wait for our JLUR to be built and delivered I have been pondering new wheel and tire combos. I am plan on installing the Mopar 2" lift kit (which I hope will have the updated springs/perch by the time I order), so it will be on a mild lift. The JL will be used for running around town...
  15. Looking for advice on wheel offset- JLUR

Thanks everyone for the replies. After thinking things through and factoring in everything I’ve read, it appears that it comes down to a combination of backspace, wheel width and offset. I plab to use a 9” wide wheel so that a 12.5” tire will fit well without ballooning. I do want some tire...
  16. Looking for advice on wheel offset- JLUR

Greetings all- I have a JLUR on order and plan on installing the Mopar 2" lift and running Nitto Ridge Grappler 37 x 12.5 x 17 on 17 x 9 wheels (exact make and model TBD). The question I have is this: What is a good offset? I have been poking around on Tire Rack just to get ideas and I noticed...
