This is happening to mine in the rear window . Was parked with the rear facing the sun last night. (1st time out of the garage) and woke up this morning to that happening. Wonder if the glass gets to hot a causes This? Did anyone get a fix yet for it?

Here you go! Follow these steps to remove the shifter. Place flat head screwdriver between the silver trim and the leather. Pry slowly and the corners will pop up. Next pull the leather skirt of the shift knob up to revieal the set screw. Use allen wrench to loosen or retighten.

bump this post. my shifter came loose while putting in drive today and is floppy. i took the t bolts out and still nothing. i think its decorative.

Mine did the same thing. Battery connection ground was loose and now all is ok for now. So weird. Also new recall came out for the cruise control. Going back next week to get that all worked out.

Honestly if its under warranty i would just let the dealer take a peek. wont cost you a dime and maybe a hour wait time. they also do multi point inspections when you take it in to the dealer.

Hey all! Well look what showed up today! These are absolutely amazing and so worth the $$$. Also, the locks are on the way since they had to make some modifications to fit the new design. Took a total of 15 minutes to install once you lay it all out.
