No. Not necessarily.
Sitting in the Jeep.
There are a few slots cut in the knee panel by your right knee.
The "In-Cabin Temperature Sensor" resides behind those slots.
Remove the panel.
Is the sensor installed or is there an empty hole where the sensor needs to be installed?
Yes.

Now for the wiring... I've sourced factory 20 ga. TXL wire using the...
My research did not indicate any issues upgrading from a single to a 2-way.
Whether it be a 2-way, 3-way, etc., filters/blockers are preinstalled to prevent unwanted signal to the speaker preventing damage. If the sound is too bright in the soundbar, with the added tweeter installed on the...
3.5" Dart speakers in the dash will be a performance gain. Not so much in the soundbar. No speaker modifications required and they direct connect.
People have had success with the 4.0" Kicker 47KSC404: Amazon.com: KICKER 47KSC404 KS Series Low Profile 4 Inch 4 Ohm 15 to 75 Watts RMS Power...
Not required for the dash.
Yes, the roll bar speakers will need to be removed to add the fill. Make it fluffy, do not pack it in.
YouTube channel CarAudioFabrication has a how to on Jeep rollbars... poly fill in conjunction with sound deadening.
Yes, use the bass blockers. Those dash speakers will not be able to handle the lower frequencies and they WILL blow.
Usually mounted inline to the positive terminal.
I quickly researched your amp. The JL amp is digital. PAC modules can be upgraded for a nominal fee (~$50.00) to add toslink. Go this route... only 1 cable to run from the module to amp vs. 3 sets of RCA's. Cleaner install too.
Even if you already own the module the toslink adapter is...
Removed the Wrangler sticker below the Jeep emblem and added the subdued American Flag nearly 2 years ago. Sourced on etsy.
Jeep filling in the entire indent is interesting. Not sure how I feel about the red outline. And as for being a Recon... Why the Sahara sills?
OK. Just realized what you meant by slipping in and out. You were talking about the Main PDC. The slippage is caused by a lack of terminals in the block. It was never wired from the factory. If the AUX switches were factory installed those positions would be already filled.
The customer...
Do you own a multimeter? If so... start at the beginning.
1. power at battery
2. power at fuses
3. power on hot side of relay
4. power to switches
5. power from switches
6. power at load side of relay
7. power at either internal or external pigtails
Which fuse block? From my understanding the fuses are independent of a fuse block and is located within the engine compartment along the firewall with the PDC for aux switches next to the coolant reservoir also at the firewall.
Did you install yourself or dealer install?
If yourself... The dealer needs to flash the computer to tell the system you now have aux switches installed.

I agree you do NOT have to remove the gap hider IF installing into a Jeep that comes with the leather seat option. I've read and heard of people breaking the plastic clips attempting to follow the directions as written. Logic will dictate necessity.
