I made the same mistake it appears. I was really wanting brighter backup light out of my stock rear LED tail lights. I purchased the replacement LED bulb from Diode Dynamics also but discovered that the rear tail lights are sealed units if you have the LED light safety group option. Bummer...
While installing the Fox ATS steering stabilizer I royally screwed up. I removed the stock bracket but while installing the new bracket I screwed up about the first 1/4” of cast threads on the axle that receives the 1/2” bolts. I think I need to tap to rethread. Instead of dropping the track...
I appreciate LOD taking the time to complete the following tests. I see now that they are really trying to help those of us that have sensor issues. I am really happy with their bumper and tire carrier! I just look forward to a possible solution to the issue of my backup sensors constantly...
I just installed. Had to cut 2” of straight pipe that connects to rear of muffler. The two inches was cut off the farthest rear end of that straight pipe. Fit was excellent then. Problem, seems to be an exhaust leak. Super loud directly under drivers seat. Figuring it must be the oem clamp...
Yes, it’s the side collision beep going off, not the backup sensors since they are off. Waiting on LOD to come up with a fix for all of us. I agree with others, license relocation on left side of the bumper isn’t great.
I’m running 37x12.5 and have issues. The Jeep they have been performing tests on is running 35x12.5 I believe and he’s having issues also. Thanks LOD for not giving up. Looking forward to a solution!
I have the LOD tire carrier and rear bumper as well. I had it Line-Xd and love it. The only issue is my rear sensors no longer work properly because it picks up the spare. Hoping LOD will come up with a fix. They’ve tried some things on Cwelroy’s but no luck so far. Hope they don’t give up!
Still waiting on LOD to find a solution? Does anyone else have issues with their back up sensors on other brands of rear bumper & tire carriers? Before installing the LOD I had a smittybuilt spare relocation bracket with the stock rubicon bumper and had zero issues. The wife really wants her...
Does anyone know if it was tested to work with the reverse sensors? Some of us that have the LOD rear bumper/tire carrier are experiencing issues with our sensors continually going off when in reverse.
It’s both the left and right side. See attached pic. I like their products I’m just disappointed that I paid big money to have it Line-X and now I’m in Hawaii without a Line-X dealer. At least they are working on a fix so that’s a huge plus, they stand behind their products. I think those...
Thanks for your update. They were going to ship me the replacement carrier since they said it will fix the issue. Glad they didn’t yet. I’m in Hawaii and already had the first one Line-X in Colorado before I shipped the JL over to Hawaii. I would never expected there to be an issue with the...
Some of us are having problems with the backup sensors going off continually when in reverse. When you get close to something the sound goes intermittent but then returns to constant when in reverse. Apparently they created a new tire mount to remedy the problem. I like the product but not...
