Interesting. I'm in Houston too. Temperature doesn't (didn't) affect my steering. It sounds more and more as if the steering issues are like migraines--lots of different causes, with the same symptoms.

Lowering mine from the crazy 57 PSI on delivery to the 37 PSI as per the door label cured 99% of my issues. (It was crazy squirrelly at freeway speeds.) Dealership figured out last 1% was using 4HI auto (Sahara).

Does anyone have recommendations for local dealer service departments? I'll need one for the recall(s) and with the extended warranty, it's simpler to just go to the dealership. Looking at dealerrater.com and Google Reviews, Ryan in Sealy seems to have the best reviews. But that's quite a drive.
