We had a blast over the weekend! We ran Falls Dam, Wolf Den, and Dickey Bell.
I went solo but ended up behind another Jeep crew on DB. A YJ tried skinny-pedaling his way through the entry of the main DB obstacle and ended up busting his driver ball joint. So while he was busy getting his axle...
Sweet! 8-9ish on Saturday at Eldorado sounds good to me. Let me check with the honey and get back with you. This would require her to be up and ready earlier than she may be anticipating ;)
Congrats! Make sure to post the wheel/tire combo in the marketplace. I've also used Craigslist with success. Sold two sets within a week of being available. Lots of JK or TJ people around that don't go big tires, but just want something new.
My wife and I are camping at Arrowhead on Friday night and will be hitting trails on Saturday. Thus far, I've only hit the easy trails but now the lift and tires are in I'm looking to do some of the more difficult sections.
Happy to meet up to run some stuff together!
I just upgraded to 37s and am selling my stock 33" JT Rubicon wheels and tires. $1000 $850 OBO
Includes 4 wheels and tires, as well as the lugs and wheel locks. No sensors. Local pickup in the Raleigh area. Less than 1K miles on them
Wow, I regret not going Teraflex again, I did get the adjustable stabilizer though!
I installed the Evo 2.5 inch Enforcer Stage 2 lift over the weekend... the front anyway. I did a small writeup on the Gladiator Forum here...
Thanks for that Shawn. Yeah, I thought it was weird that they only include 1/2 inch spacers in the rear and not full springs. I'm wondering if that's all that's really needed to level things out and still have room for 37s.
I hated the erosion humps....especially in the JT, that wheel base is killer like I mentioned. That alone convinced me to go 37s with at least 2 inch lift. Thinking I'm going to do the Evo Stage 2. I'm bummed Teraflex doesn't have any true lifts with the JT, only leveling kits at this point.
I have these rails new in box sitting in my living room. I ordered them and ended up selling the 2DR so no longer have a need for them. I plan on shipping them back but figured I'd gauge interest here to see if anyone wants to save the tax and avoid waiting for shipping.
$280 firm
Local pickup...
Year and a half...haha. Lessons learned on the 2-door. It was a great first project, and the sweat equity paid off (dealer gave me more than I put into it on trade), but I'm excited to build out a camping/crawling rig, and the extra space allows best of both worlds. To new beginnings!
