I'm in the Hudson Valley, the dogs are Bernese Mountain Dogs, sisters. Maggie, one with more white passed away last year. I have fairly thick skin so the reactions don't bother me. It's just that I had never received an email recall before and it looked very strange. I stand corrected about FCA...
Chipe, I made the poor presumption that my post would be read in its entirety. What I failed to mention in my original post was the link provided appears to be not secure, http://recalls.mopar.com
I chose not to open it.
Also the sender was [email protected] ?
The point is the FCA recall people don't email out recall notices, they come via snail mail. Also there are too many misspellings and incomplete sentences. And this recall was completed over 6 months ago.
Hi,
I received this email the other day and it definitely appears to be a fishing email. I just got off the phone with FCA recall rep and confirmed they do not send recall emails.
Notice the misspelling of UTILTIY. Also, the link recalls.mopar.com is not secure.
Has anyone received...
So I just heard back from Vito. I had a couple of more questions and I emailed him on that, but I will be finalizing this deal. He must be busy, so that's why the delayed response, he did apologize for that. Thanks again Greg!
Hi Greg, I had sent him a follow up email on Friday with a build list but have not heard back. I'm looking for a 2 door and I know they are delayed in production so maybe that's why. Thanks for any help.
Sorry for confusion. We will be dealing with Vito, when I hear back. I won't waste time going to Ramsey Jeep on 17South. I use to work right down the road from them. I also use to work in Parsipanny so I know where Vito is:like:.
I had emailed Vito the other day and heard back today, he is still doing the invoice -3%. As long as there are no hidden dealer 3 month financing attached as with Station, looks like we will be heading to NJ. It's only an hour drive for me from the Hudson Valley.
Apparently in Mass or NJ they can charge whatever doc fee they want unlike NY or PA where they are fixed at $75 and $134 respectively. The 3 month dealer loan they added turned me sour on this deal. https://www.edmunds.com/car-buying/what-fees-should-you-pay.html
Station quoted me invoice -5% but you have to finance first 3 payments through them and then you can pay off the remainder. I asked what the finance charges were and " about $300 or $400" . Also their doc fee is $384.
I spoke to Wendy at Station Jeep in Mansfield MA and they are still doing -5% invoice till 2/28. So it looks like that’s who we will be working with, she seemed very nice.
