Has anyone tried updating the firmware on the Pulsar XT? I'd like to know if there is an update available before I spend any money on the required cable.
I have the Pulsar XT on my 2020 JL Rubicon (2dr automatic). I do not have the issue you are talking about. It works great, BUT I installed a GFB DV+ (using the main spring GFB provides) before I installed the XT which may be preventing me from 'dumping' the boost. Also have a stock air cleaner...
I would go 5.13 is gas mileage is no issue (and you wheel). Otherwise, 4.88 is the place to be when running 37s. I can only speak from a 6-spd POV though.
Found that out the hard way. Ended up using a wire tie to pull it back until I got home. No big deal, but the sound it makes is freaking annoying...almost as bad as the jet engine fan. LOL
I have a RK 2.5 lift and 37s. I bought an aftermarket steering stabilizer but NEVER installed it. The stock one is doing quite well. I've put over 5,000 on it like this with many trips rock crawling. You 'may' want to look into the steering recall. Not sure if that could explain your dead spot.
I have a feeling they are only rolling it out to certain markets to get feedback. As a software engineer, this update is buggy. My guess is they know this and are responding to the feedback from the community to address bugs and undesirable behavior.
DISCLAIMER: This is my opinion based on...
Have had the update for a couple weeks now. Much more buggy than original version. My screen locks up from time to time and I cannot move from whatever is open when it locks. I need to shut off Jeep, open door to force it off, then restart Jeep to unlock it.
Lockups happen typically when my...
Liquid Iron Industries (Berlin) did the work. The cost was $2,000 since only Dana Spicer have the parts to do it. It includes the 500 mile fluid change too. Globex quoted around the same price, but they are over an hour away from me. They regeared my JK and did a great job.
And yes, I had an...
So I have the SB bracket, and after installing, realized it does NOT work with 37s and my wheels with 3.96" back spacing. The rubber isolators are not long enough to reach. I adjusted them all the way out and even put some extra rubber material to cover the gap, but found the spare wobbles top...
I've had no issues on 37s and have hit a few black trails at Rausch Creek along with a red. The differences between my previous rig (2014 JKUR) and my JLUR in this department are amazing. My JL seems more capable so far. And to be honest, I find my JL doesn't get damaged on trails where my JK...
4.88s with 37s. Hands down. I'm on a 6-speed JLUR with 37s and in 6th I hit around 2.600 RPMs at 80MPH (on flat NJ highways). I'm betting the auto will be even more favorable. My MPG hovers around 16.5MPG with moderate daily driving. If I'm hard on the skinny pedal, I get more like 14MPG...
Finally got my JLUR out on some real trails and found that my tires are rubbing on the lower control arms when going in reverse. Yes, only noticeable in reverse. LOL
The setup is:
RK 2.5 X-Factor
37X12.5R17 Cooper SST
DV8 882 Beadlocks (3.96" BS)
I would have figured 3.96 BS should be enough...
