I've noticed this with mine too and want to try one of the pedal commander products. I think it has something to do with the computer controlled throttle.
Might wan't to change the name of this thread so it gets more attention. People need to double check with their service adviser that they are doing the correct oil change.
Just got back from the dealer and that was interesting to say the least. They had no idea the JL took 5 quarts of 0-20! I talked to a few different mechanics and the service adviser, luckily they were cool enough to not just blow me off and looked into it and after awhile they came to agree with...
I just checked mine after seeing this and sure enough it says they put 6qt of 5-20 in it and mine does look overfilled. I hope there's no long term problems from running around overfilled for about 1000 miles!
Mine started doing this too but only when off road. Seems totally random when it decides to go off. First time was scary atop a mountain trail in the middle of nowhere with no cell reception. I haven't had it go off while on pavement yet though.
Brandon from Lakeville here. Picked up my JLUR Monday before the blizzard in Chicago. We had planned on driving straight home 400 miles but the storm slowed us down so we stayed the night in Winona. The Jeep was great in the snow we just couldn't see where we were going!
. I just picked mine up this morning and didn't notice I got a $500 off email until just now! But I read the fine print and mine says it excludes the Wrangler. Also I didn't get any upcharge for the MSRP change.
I ordered on 2/7 and just got an email from my dealer that it's already ready! Super bummed I cant make the 6.5 hour drive to go get it until Monday though. Also worried about my tread lightly discount because I joined the same day I ordered. We'll see how that plays out when I pick it up.
I plan on setting my gps to "avoid highways" for the first 300 miles or so. Who knows if it'll make any difference, there's a whole thread about it here https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/vehicle-break-in-and-out-of-state-purchase.2938/
Spider lake trails in Backus has ORV trails. I've never been but plan on checking it out once my jeep arrives. http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/ohv/trail_detail.html?id=27
I just got an updated POC with a VIN and a VON and an estimated ship date of 2-22. I really hope it all works out! Although after reading through the tracking thread it seems ship dates don't mean much haha
I ordered a JLUR on 2-7 and joined TL the same day. But since then I have noticed a few lucky people have gotten their jeep in less than 30 days. If by some off chance my Jeep is ready in less than 30 days does anyone know how screwed I might be? I mentioned the affiliate code when ordering and...
