I agree that it the October order/December production dates suck. I want to know what changes are happening for '22 yesterday. I'm still trying to find out if the rumor of rear curtain airbags for '22 is true or not.
Turns out for 2022, RAM has a new G/T Package for the Rebel (and Laramie) and it has the gear shifter from the TRX instead of the rotary dial. I think my life is complete now š
I know this is a Wrangler forum, but by chance does anyone know when the 2022 RAMs are available for order?
Agree to disagree. I know itās a three-row but Iām in that market and donāt want bland. Iām not saying TRD Pro per se, but something more exciting than what they currently offer. The colors they offer are also quite bland, especially the velvet red. Blah! Give me a Sport Model or Trailhawk model...
With the Wrangler and 4Runner, it's my opinion the most desirable (and likely to best hold their value) models are the Rubicon and TRD Pro, respectively. When it comes to the RAM 1500's, are the Rebel models likely to best hold their value? Yes, I know the TRX is the most highly sought after...
I see some hint of Brown in there so hard pass for me. That said, the new L is okay but I wish it had the equivalent of a TRD Pro package to make it more exciting. It's bland.
I think I'm going to reach out to him too. Renee at Gupton hasn't replied to me in two weeks. I even sent her a follow-up email Monday. Not a peep. Who knows, maybe she thinks I'm not serious because of where I live (I'm very interested in having the vehicle shipped...I'm still waaay ahead...
Rear curtain airbags that offer side crash protection for your head. Currently not offered on the Wrangler, which is stunning to me but that's Jeep for you.
I'm still trying to validate if the '22 Wrangler will offer curtain airbags. Another poster on these forums heard that rumor so I really hope it's true. Wifey will not let me buy a Wrangler without them. I hope Jeep delivers this as the Bronco has them.
In the meantime they're really pi&&ing off customers, like me, who don't want that package and now cannot order a Rubicon. That policy is best for Jeep (in their minds) and not for Jeep's customers.
Yes, unfortunately this is true. But the flip side is I have little sympathy for them because if they're not willing to compete in the free marketplace, why should I reward them with my business?
I like your list but I don't ever see # 2 happening. I'd like to add to #1 - heater elements in the windshield to de-ice the wipers. My '15 4R has that feature (it runs under the wipers' resting position, and up the driver's side edge) and works awesome at keeping the wipers fairly ice-free...
Yes, it is true that Jeep is mandating the XR package on all new gas V6 Rubicons with an auto transmission. Further, Jeep is not accepting orders currently for the 2.0T Rubicon JLU. Three different dealers in three different states all confirmed this for me.
I'm not happy about this (why...
