  1. Pictures of camping with your Jeep

Hey fellow Coloradoan, the two campsites are Dollhouse 1 and Maze Overlook. And this is from Standing Rock last March - snowing in the distance. Yep, the Maze is out of this world - unless you ride a Jeep.
  2. Rhino Rack vs. Maximus-3

I spoke to a knowledgeable rep at Rackattack and he said that you can mount Rhino towers and pioneer platform on the Yakima ribcage rails. Apparently those rails are a quasi industry norm.
  3. Starting to regret bigger wheels and tires….any words of encouragement ??

On a JLUR, 35" is the perfect compromise in my opinion. The Rubicon has a lower axle ratio, and stays agile on the highway with 35s. On the trail, 35s and a quality lift give you amazing off-road capability, likely only limited by the abilities of the driver. That said, if you own a Sport and...
  4. Bike Rack Options??

This is my solution to carrying a mountain bike off-road without compromising the departure angle. The tailgate easily opens with the bike mounted, I can enter the garage with the bike mounted, no rattling or movement. LoD bumper and tire carrier, custom LoD bike carrier arms, quickfist fasteners.
  5. American Adventure Lab's base and fridge slide

Thank you, this is perfect. The hole allowing for soft top install is clearly visible - and my order is in!
  6. American Adventure Lab's base and fridge slide

Thanks for the detailed description! I am looking at the MASS shelf myself, and I am wondering whether it will work with the soft top. On their homepage, AAL mention that a slight modification to the bracket attached to the roll-bar (an additional hole) was required to install the soft-top. From...

  8. DIY Hardtop hoist ideas - brainstorming

I use it since several years, happy with it.
  9. MOPAR 2" Lift (initial review) - AWESOME!!!

The 315/70/17 BFGs are not even 34.4". Sort of like two by fours. I can't speak for other brands.
  10. OEM Battery Replacement

Any concerns about the fact that you can’t get an odyssey extreme for the JL, their top of the line?
  11. OEM Battery Replacement

Got it, that makes sense. I have that jumper ready to go, will try that, too.
  12. OEM Battery Replacement

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/3-6l-ess-dual-battery-consolidated-information.25377/ For example. Claims that the AUX and main batteries are disconnected during engine start, preventing start if the AUX battery is dead. The next one claims that a firmware upgrade can solve that...
  13. OEM Battery Replacement

As much as I would love to - careful with bypassing the ESS battery, that opens a whole can of worms. Plenty of threads on that topic.
  14. OEM Battery Replacement

Both my main an AUX batteries were replaced on warranty in May of this year. At that point my JLUR was over two years old with 27k miles. Warranty on the battery is 3 years. The new batteries come again with a 3 year warranty.
  15. 2019 unlimited rubicon battery dead after 4-5 days sitting??

My dealer recently replaced both batteries at no charge. Also replaced the module that controls the aux battery. All under warranty. I bought my Rubi in 2018.
  16. Bike Rack Options??

  17. Bike Rack Options??

    50 Bucks and it’s yours.
  18. Bike Rack Options??

It’s the Hollywood tire rack. You can get it at etrailer.com . If you are in northern Colorado I’m happy to sell you mine. I don’t use it anymore.
  19. Bike Rack Options??

    Yes indeed.
  20. Bike Rack Options??

Yes I did. However, eventually I took the third break light off altogether. Here in Colorado it is not required. That is, if it is installed it must work, but there is no requirement that it be installed.
