Even if you donāt go to participate in the official events, cruising International Speedway Blvd and the beach with so many Jeeps is fun. Jjirish put it best about getting a sore wrist from waving.:like::jk: I have seen just about every model from WW2 to JLs carrying some of the happiest...
It might be easier, but in my experience a fully loaded Rubicon is much cheaper. Otherwise, once again by experience, you get rid of her and she takes the Jeep. At the time, I thought it was worth it.
I canāt get you a picture of the windshield because the county stuck my beach pass on the outside right over description!
Here are pictures from the backside just to test your reading skills::cwl:
Hopefully, your price will wind up being less. Safelite quoted the same price on my initial call, but after contacting my insurance they reduced it considerably at installation:
MOPAR OEM Acoustic glass for ā18 JL
Retail - $675.00
Discounted price - $479.00
Labor - $106.40
Sales Tax - $38.06...
Perhaps for your situation, but for me, I have never had a problem trading on custom orders. We have agreed on mileage allowance and zero damage until the ordered vehicle arrives.
Safelite arrived this afternoon and replaced the windshield. First time with Safelite and am impressed with their business approach. Communication about dealing with my insurance company, difficulty getting OEM glass, appointment, and complete info on technician was excellent.
Wow, These...
Your link is for the First Edition Owners Manual. I donāt know how many changes were made, but here is the link for the Second Edition:

I would say your post qualifies. I donāt recall anything or anyone mentioning this as an age related issue. There has been a lot of give and take on both sides though. And, yes I am 68yrs old and get a little testy when things start getting personal.
I am going back to following this thread...
Mine made it two days and 151 miles before it got smacked. A forum member in South Dakota made it only four miles from the dealership before his was hit. That may be the record! Waiting two weeks for Safelite to get my new windshield is only half over. Hopefully, they receive one from MOPAR and...
I donāt see a lot of difference in the steering being ātighterā than the JK, but I never really noticed any problem on the JK. The JLU does seem to have a little tighter turning circle though.
My experience in Wranglers is that they require you to ādrive itā all of the time. The live axle and...
The vote on this occurred this last Saturday and it was unanimous by voting members in attendance. Two problems ... Jay was the only voting member present and you were on holiday. Did you miss the meeting announcement Saturday afternoon?

For us, the difference is huge when comparing our ā17 Sahara JKU to the new ā18 Sahara JLU. The JLU acceleration is quicker and we had the 3.73 gears in the ā17. Although we never had a problem with the 5-speed auto, the new transmission is much nicer. Better acceleration, smooth gear changes...
Maybe a Florida Jeep thing, but the best offers on our ā17 JKUS at $31,000 were wayyyyy too low. I politely said no thanks to one and all, and we decided to keep driving our 13 month old Sahara. My dealer called five days later and upped his offer by $4,000 on the trade. Including the tax...
