Imports are already available, expensive? yes, but TUV approved, check Geiger or Wittkopp in Germany, only other option is what Euro Jeep mentioned, get a US citizen to buy and import but will have to do the paperwork yourself. Importing by itself is not a big deal. As a friend of mine says...

I would like to see a JLU two door conversion, b pillar a few inches back but guess that would be a tough one....

Just spoke to a dealer, JLUR in Europe should be the same as in the US except for the 3.6 engine that does not comply with emissions (how about Alfa Romeo engines??). We should be able to order larger flairs, maybe an intelligent bumper. More info in a few weeks. Keep on dreaming...

Exactly, same in Germany, even if it ends up 10% above the "regular" EU price still better to import a REAL jeep....
