You guys be happy, I am 6'9", not only don't I fit because of the sports bar, I don't even fit width-wise, my shoulder/arm is pressed against the b pillar. It feels like a ride on toy car.....Waited long for the JL but will have to settle for something else. Had the a-b pillar distance been made...
It is without warranty although you can buy one from the importer (usually 2years@1000), and it does include TUV (homologation), in any case, at least for me, it makes no sense to spend 65k on a stripped down version. Check Wittkopp or Geiger in Germany, there must be many others...and keep...
Imports are already available, expensive? yes, but TUV approved, check Geiger or Wittkopp in Germany, only other option is what Euro Jeep mentioned, get a US citizen to buy and import but will have to do the paperwork yourself. Importing by itself is not a big deal. As a friend of mine says...
Just spoke to a dealer, JLUR in Europe should be the same as in the US except for the 3.6 engine that does not comply with emissions (how about Alfa Romeo engines??). We should be able to order larger flairs, maybe an intelligent bumper. More info in a few weeks. Keep on dreaming...
It seems to be a US Rubi with a European hood, weird since we probably won't get the raised flares/wider axles/nice bumper here.....but it keeps me dreaming.....thks for posting

:-( really disappointed, have been lurking around wrangler forums ever since the JK came out and was hoping to pull the trigger on the JLUR, wrote to FCA in Germany and the UK asking why (since we won't get the US JLUR) they can't at least register the 35' and the JLR fenders so its...
