The JL has a quick disconnect for the washer fluid line, and a holder (receptacle) for both the wiper motor plug, and the washer fluid line. I think that is brilliant! I haven't seen Jeep mention this at all. Things like this are actually worth boasting about, for anyone who's owned an older...
This has always happened, and will keep happening at every redesign lol. Check out this retro review for the YJ, the host says "people think this is the Yuppy Jeep" lol around the 2:25 mark.
I've towed a 2016 Duramax crew cab with my 2 door on a 10 mile trip and had no issues. So I'm sure its more for safety/legal reasons or something, and not the actual Jeep lacking the capability.
Oh man. Well they say everything happens for a reason. Maybe it was meant to be, so you could try out a new style of aftermarket parts for your new Jeep.
Nice to know if you've already invested in a nice bumper/winch set up and aftermarket wheels+tires, it can be installed onto your new Jeep. Especially if you no loner have your stock JK parts, just do a swap and you're good to good
You're awesome for this! I hate myself for thinking it looks really good, but it does lol. But this is definitely good news. The bolt pattern for the wheels is still 5x5 (5x127) like the JK, correct?
Thanks. The salesman I bought my Jeep off last year left the dealership shortly after I bought it, so I had no access to asking if Jeep does custom paint. They added 2 colors to the 2017s in the last quarter of the model year, so maybe we'll see more color choices sooner rather than later.
I retweeted as well. I never use my twitter so I look like a total loser + have no audience to see it, but I @ed Jeep + FCA. Hope it all works out in your favor and gets sorted out quickly!
(Mods, feel free to move this if I put it in the wrong section)
Jeeps always look good in green or tan. Mojito may be too much for people, but in my search to see what Ocean Blue Metallic looks like in a real life photo, I noticed Chrysler is offering a great green color on the 300. You think...
Feels like all I've seen are black interior shots. If you've seen any with tan, or that's what you chose to buy, go ahead and spam this thread up with pics. Please and thank you!
Pretty sure ever since the freedom top became available 11 years ago, they've been coming with the storage bags for the panels.. Sounds like your dealer is playing stupid. Go get cho bag from them, man!
Firecracker red es mucho fuego! So nice! Man, I love the look of the smaller radio screen. For some reason, it gives me more of a "real Jeep" (cue the triggered comments) CJ vibe. Muy retro! Even the base Sport head unit looks amazing.
For anyone complaining about this not being "Practical" do you even watch Dirt Every Day? This isn't built to showcase parts for the JL, sure that comes along with it, but Dirt Every Day is a show. They're going for insane builds to attract excitement, not to showcase bumpers and skid plates for...
Doesn't the one Jtimbrook posted have high clearance flares, whereas the one simplejl posted has regular flares?
*edit* I just rewatched with sound on, guy says its got high clearance flares stock? I'm confused lol I thought the high clearance flares were optional. Does he mean "stock" as in...
Thanks for posting that video, Dan W! Man those throws look short and crisp compared to the JK, this seems like it's an awesome transmission! The JK 6-speed was trash. Popping into neutral on rough terrain, and fighting to keep it in reverse. I don't really like the JK auto either. This new JL...
