Yes, they mentioned that and said it could tow more, just not 5,000 due to increase in tire size. It seems like a big jump...

The Dealer said it has nothing to do with gearing. The said an X model with 4.56 can tow 5000. I'm confused.

Hello, Does anyone seem to know the tow ratings for the new JL? I am looking for what model will tow 5000 pounds, and even when I call the dealerships they can't answer it correctly. I see maybe the 4.10 gearing with the 3.6 or the Turbo should do it?
