Really, how did they accomplish that? Sounds like anyone who wants a better handling and steering Jeep for street, or most other instances just has to adjust this out.
If you've got auto rain sensing wipers, you could try going into the Uconnect and toggling that feature off. Likely not the problem, because the switch should over ride that, but at least its out of the equation.
Anyone that drives their jeep in rain snow or mud is either gonna have that stuff raining down on the engine or clogged in the hood. Imagine trying to clear snow and ice off in the winter time? Not good.
In 2010 the Canadian dollar was about on par with the US dollar. The Canadian dollar has taken a big nosedive since then that will account for most of the price increase. It has been slowly climbing back up, $0.80 today. So maybe the longer jeep makes us wait, hopefully it will end up costing us...
The Rubicon by its namesake was designed as a rock crawler and I can see a vented hood would be an advantage there. But for everyone that exposes their jeep to water mud snow and ice it's a disadvantage. It's some consolation that the vents are fake even though Mark Allen at the LA car show said...
Glad you got out of there without being a participant on Live PD.
It's nice to hear there's the headroom clearance because I'm pretty tall as well and that's my major concern.
Maybe they're saving the Punkin with the Black leather interior for the Halloween edition, who knows. Infused with the engineers that are designing and building this thing you have the interior design people. While a necessity, sometimes I think they get overly creative.
You're right, a two door unlimited is closer to the original Scrambler. Maybe they're more popular today than they were. Who would've known Scramblers and pierced nose rings would've been in vogue one day.
Back in the '80s when I had my CJ 7 there was also the stretched version CJ 8 Scrambler. They were ugly everyone hated them including me. So today the two-door is still one of my favorite vehicles, the modern stretched version a.k.a. 'Unlimited' not so much.
That really is one of the unique things about a jeep that you can tailor it to your own tastes. I know the Sahara's have those panels wrapped in black leather. If you couldn't find someone to trade maybe you could find a good upholsterer that could modify those for you.
I'm going with sting gray so I think the red dash will look great. But if I didn't like the red, my friend has an auto body shop and he could have those out and painted any color I wanted before I could get back to him with a case of beer. Seriously though I would check to see how easily those...
I've got used to pressing the button so I'll just keep doing that. Sometimes it's handy when your vehicle is in the middle of the dark snow covered parking lot anyway.
