  1. No hinge bolts on your doors?! You crazy?

I’m confused. Do you all mean the actual bolts or are you referring to the nuts that hold the bolt in? Big difference in my mind...
  2. Single accessory providing most joy

Heated seats and steering wheel. I thought I was a tough guy, but now I love when those come on automatically all winter.
  3. My Steering Issues Have Been Fixed!

Took my jeep in for its 5000 mile service last Thursday and had the TSB applied. I had no problems getting them to perform the reset since my 4 door sport s was manufactured March 2018. Took off on 360 mile round trip to Boston right after that. The steering is definitely improved, but only...
  4. Should I make the switch? Taco to JLU?

Traded my 2011 Tacoma TRD Off-road with a 6 speed manual and couldn’t be happier. The only thing that it had that was better than my sport s is gearing and power. Man this thing is useless in 6th gear or really at any low rpms. Tacoma always had more power when you needed it. But it did have the...
  5. Sharp corners on front seat tracks a potential hazard.

I catch my pants on this when getting out on the drivers side all the time. It hasn’t been an issue as much now that it’s summer and I’ve been wearing shorts.. but I foresee some tears in the future. Seat is all the way back.
  6. Apple CarPlay Sport S

It’s USB only and does not work with Bluetooth. What I’ve read says that it’s because of the sheer amount of data being transferred is too much for Bluetooth, also it would drain your phone super quickly if not plugged in.
  7. JL Fuel Door Install / Video

I guess this explains why it feels so flimsy when I fill up. Not even a single freakin screw holding it in there?!
  8. MPG difference between Rubi and Sahara

You didn’t ask, but I’m getting 21+ in a stock sport S. Manual. Mostly backroads, some highway.
  9. WTS Sport S factory running board North East

$200 obo. Don’t know why these are a $695 option when you can buy them new for $350 :facepalm::punch:
  10. WTS Sport S factory running board North East

BUMP. Someone make me an offer on these. Need them out of my dining room!
  11. How prevalent are these issues anyway?!?

My biggest issues is the loose steering. It almost feels like there is too much electronic assist. Needs a bit more resistance.
  12. Rock Sliders

Anyone have these from JCR Off-road? They look similar to the ones above, minus the steps... https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/JLSL-CL-4D.html
  13. QTDDTOT: Questions that don't deserve their own thread

Anyone else notice that the fuel filler seems really flimsy? The sheet metal and filler neck seem to flex more than usual when I stick the pump nozzle in.
  14. WTS Sport S factory running board North East

SOLD For sale are the running boards off my 2018 Sport S. 4 doors... never been stepped on :0 Would also trade straight up for factory Rubicon rock rails. $400 obo. Pickup only. In CT https://imgur.com/a/nRSQk
  15. Does anyone actually like start-stop

I agree that it’s not too bad on the manual. At most lights I just leave it in gear with the clutch in, so it doesn’t shut off. If I know it will be a long light I’ll pop it into neutral and let is shut off for a minute.
  16. Extended Seat Options

For real. I was shocked by how little leg room there actually is. I’m not overly tall at only 6’, but could definitely use another inch or two to really feel comfortable. Height wise I’m fine, with at least two inches between my head and the roll bar. I just traded in my 6-speed manual Tacoma...
  17. What did you name your Jeep JL?

Current TJ is named Sheila. My truck is Boomer.
  18. Sting-Gray and Khaki top?

I’ve always had a thing for Khaki soft tops and I happen to think that it looks pretty good on the sting-gray JL. I was considering a Rubicon but am really liking the look of the sport s with the stock wheels. I like the fact that you can get a tan interior without having to pay for leather...
