  1. SoCal/AZ/NV JL Buyers!

I hear you on the Vegas trip! I have a bunch of open tabs now looking into handling the sales tax/registration process back here in CA to see what I'm getting into.
  2. SoCal/AZ/NV JL Buyers!

Right now I can't even get Tread Lightly pricing at 1% under invoice anywhere around socal, either my skills are garbage or the deals have really dried up. Even places that people have mentioned in here like Jack Powell and Huntington Beach aren't doing 1% under invoice for me, even to match...
  3. Key Fob Information and Pics

Does the JL key have a way to go in the water? For surfing, diving, etc. it's nice to be able to take the key into the water with you for security. Can't take that huge fob in a wetsuit pocket and it doesn't look like the metal key comes out, right?
  4. Reviews Compilation: 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Sport, Sahara, Rubicon (w/ Videos)

Nice review by Redline. It's amazing how fast the price goes up with the auto trans and hard top. My optioned out rubi build is only a couple grand more than his sport s tester when leaving out those options and sticking with the manual + soft top.
  5. Rainy Test Drive - 1st Impressions

Rain isn't a concern for me, but this does look a bit disappointing.
  6. Rubicon: stock or optional wheels?

I like the upgraded wheels, but the stock ones are really nice too. Getting too many other options, passing on this one.
  7. The Elusive Golden Ticket

I also just got one dated 2/28. Not in time for late colors :(
  8. 2.0L Turbo JL Wrangler 0-60 MPH Acceleration Test (Video)

I'd be a little more comfortable opening up the exhaust and turning up the boost on the 2.0T than I would adding forced induction to the V6, in terms of worry-free maintenance and a closer to stock experience.
  9. Dual Top or Soft Top Only?

Soft top only, likely going for the premium upgrade. I don't have a garage so my decision is pretty easy. Plus socal weather.
  10. 2 Door Rubicon vs Sport S

Dreams definitely crushed, sorry for the confusion guys!
  11. 2 Door Rubicon vs Sport S

Ah I may be mistaken then, I thought for sure I had documentation of this but now I'm coming up empty. One thing to note though, in the mopar catalogue they refer to the parts as "rubicon steel bumpers" just like they refer to the "rubicon rock rails" and "rubicon hood" that are indeed standard...
  12. 2 Door Rubicon vs Sport S

Steel bumpers are standard on the rubicon from the factory. There is no way to get steel bumpers on a Sport S from the factory although you can order both front and rear rubi bumpers through the mopar catalogue and your dealer can install them + cover under warranty, so basically just as good as...
  13. Sting-Gray JL Wrangler Revealed in Designer Video

Hard for me to tell what the true color is from this lighting. If you look at the dash, it's very yellow and warm overall, when we know it doesn't look like that under neutral lighting. The color is probably closer to neutral grey than it looks here.
