well one is sold...the other was on a test drive...so its looking good for sales over here...yet they have several 18 JKs that have been sitting stalemated for several weeks now..
i asked the dealer if theyre planning to clearance them...i got "well we have them marked down $1500 right now" i...
heading to go see the JLs now...the numbers should be interesting...most are saying they got 3-5% below invoice...i dont know management at this particular dealer...but our 15 GC is a pretty high demand car with relatively low miles....so i would suspect i could get one and retrofit with wheels...
Jeep dealer out here has 2 on the lot right now Unlimited Sport S's...nothing special...both have tech group...cold weather...hard top with soft delete...one has alpine upgrade
one white...one granite...both auto trans
With the options I want in a JLU Sport...ill need invoice to stay at my price point. Ill bet FCA is banking JK owners will dump em for the new JL...so trades are worth more than Bitcoin to a Jeep dealer these days
Remember, dealers dont make anything off new cars. They make all of their money...
i wrote up the deal...start to finish...i wish i kept the bill of sale for clowns like you lol
3k for the trade wasnt bad for a 2002 Pontiac Grand AM GT1 with 99,999 on it (i shit you not)...wholesale car...lucky if the guy who bought it for resale make a grand on it with it needing intake...
I had the delivery fee waived off my Camaro back in 2010...sticker was 27k...trade was 3k...employee pricing (which is invoice +2%)..no doc fees...no delivery fee...walked out with a loan of 19k
so yes they can
You aren't doing a good enough job negotiating if anyone intends on paying MSRP for their JL, U or no U
At or slightly below invoice with no fees is not that hard to come by. Waive that destination fee too...its possible.
Jay...still hearing Wednesday for pricing? For once, I actually think my wife is more excited about a new vehicle than i am and shes anxious to find out how much a JLU will set us back lol
This cant be true...MSRP on a JKU Sport is $27,895. No way invoice is only $400 less than MSRP.
Also, TreadLightly isnt available everywhere...so theres a good reason not to...because you cant lol
I was telling this to my dealer recently when i looked at a 17 JKU with 8k of add-ons the dealer put on.
Payment range was what it would have been for an SRT Charger with 0 money down.
Why the hell would I buy a JKU at the same pricepoint as that? Damn JKU has been in their showroom collecting...
Really would love a Sahara...but I have to stay 40k or less so its probably a Sport for me with the MUSTS below
Must Haves
LED Group
Cold Weather (for wife)
Aux Switches (for later lighting)
Dual Top Group (i had only the 3 piece hard top with my JK at first...soft top purchase changed my whole...
