With a soft top, windows are not secure...

I’m looking for a locking vault that goes on the rear cargo “cubby” for the JL. I’ve found several, but all for JK. I have a JL hardtop, but need a secure place for my work laptop before I can get a soft top. Has anyone seen one like this for JLU?

Bought my JLU end of January. Replaced my second windshield today. I’m hoping this is a freak things and I’m not cracking a windshield every 2-3 months. Thank Goodness for $0 deductible on glass!

If you register your VIN on the Jeep app, it will show if you have any recalls. Seems to be a delay though, I just got the notification about the cruise control recall almost a month later.

My husband ordered his Bestop from Morris 4X4 online for his ‘16 JL and was very pleased. Not sure if they have them for JL yet. I think his looks much better than stock.

We have a Bestop on our 16 JK, always thought it looked better than stock. May consider soft top once I see what they come out with for JL.

The ONLY reason I have a hard top. My JL is a daily driver, so security is an issue. We take my hubbys JK soft top on leisure trips.

All of mine had locks on them, but must have been put on by my dealer. Had the Mopar package in the glove box.

G Hopefully you have better response than I did. Took Safelite a month to get mine in. Downside of having a brand new model. Got mine installed 2 days ago and hoping it last me a while!

I’m sure that made you even more sick that I was! At least I had mine a month! I have an appt next week, Hopefully Safelite will have mine in by then.

That’s what I thought, but wanted to make sure.. especially on a month old Jeep! I’ll make sure it has the acoustic print on the bottom before they install. Thanks!

My first Jeep too! My husband has a JK and I fell in love the day he brought it home, and I’ve been jealous ever since. Now it’s my turn and I love my JL! I got the granite crystal too, was planning on black, but when I saw that color in person, I had to have it! Enjoy!

So, I found that the cord for engine heater attatched and secured under the hood. I still don’t have the liner for the storage cubby and my dealer had no idea what I was referring to…

I’ll have to look, maybe it’s was already installed. Thanks!

Don’t think it charges.. but the cubby is in between the drink holders. I love it!
