  1. FCA Ecodiesel news

Yeah I saw they were discontinuing too but were going to continue with RAM trucks and commercial vehicles. Not sure where this leaves Jeep. I have already assumed the Wrangler will not get the Ecodiesel even though they confirmed it was coming. I will probably be wrong, but at least then I will...
  2. FCA Ecodiesel news

Yeah we have a ‘14 JGC EcoDiesel and have not heard a peep yet either. Any idea if you can just ignore it and leave it the way it is if there is a performance degradation after the recall update? I mean, if it works OK besides not being certified, can they force you to bring the Jeep in for an...
  3. JL picture thread

Wow, that price is a bit steep. Makes me wonder what a fully loaded Rubicon will cost. Not to mention the $4-5k premium for the diesel. You could probably get a base Corvette for that price. What world are we living in now...
  4. Ecodiesel Reliability?

All more expensive to a degree. As DanW said, the range and to me, the power are why you are paying the extra $4-5k for the diesel. I think after the maintenance and extra costs, it's close to a wash for the upgraded MPGs. We did an oil package for 4 changes at $250 if I remember correctly...

I know typically we pay about 20¢ higher than 87 unleaded, sometimes 40¢ (looking at you state of Colorado) sometimes it's almost identical. We honestly got a really good deal on the diesel since it sat on the lot for 8-9 months so...
  6. Ecodiesel Reliability?

So let me start off first by giving some information. I do not own a Wrangler and have only spent two weeks behind the wheel of a JK and JKU while on vacation in St Thomas. I am however planning on buying a JLU in about a year once the EcoDiesel is available, fingers crossed it actually comes...
