considered that but wasn’t this bad before recall. the touchy engagement was there but the ramping up/down force wasn’t as high as it is now which what makes it seem so touchy. maybe new clutch exacerbated? I’m gonna see what SA says. might still do that spring upgrade though.

you remove screws (that hold trim pieces on) and replace them with snap screws and the mesh top snaps in. zips in front to a piece that is installed behind front windshield.
just got my check in the mail today. got an email yesterday saying it was shipped (and an email couple days before on 4/19/18 saying it was being processed). honestly forgot about it until i got the emails. purchased 2/6/18.
when i was a kid one of the first thing my dad would do after buying a car would be removing the dealer logos. at the time i didn’t see what the big deal was. said it was free advertising. fast forward to today i’m doing the same thing and explaining it to my kids.
