I wish I could say this was from off-roading but idiot here drove over a Boulder whilst leaving a car park (donāt ask)
Is this something to worry about? Should I get replaced?
I kind of think it did itās job but Iām just a bit worried about that crack?
UPDATE: JEEP IS FIXED!!
Head engineer flew out and looked at it. The problem was a faulty wire with the cooling system. This in-turn affected the Cam system which caused the electrics to mess up.
They replaced the wire and 300 miles later, no issues.
UPDATE: so they thought it was a ground wire and sorted that but then they found 6 other faults with the electrics.
Jeep technical are now involved and are being really good. Let see what tomorrow brings.
UPDATE: They thought they fixed it this week as they had 17 safety updates that needed updating. They updated them and test drove it but the fault came straight back. They now say it is an earthing wire that has come loose or has not been fitted correctly so they are replacing this before trying...
Thatās great news that they think they found the issue. Mine is still in the garage - their words āitās looking like an involved jobā
Iām just puzzled that they can be this relaxed about it. If I was going any faster and the steering went like last Sunday then it could have been a whole lot worse.
How many people have had this problem -
Service Shifter message shows
Power Steering goes
Then whole host of other messages such as no stability control, no start stop feature, throttle response
Exactly what this guy has.
Just want to know if anyone found out what the issue is?
EU regulations - I understand why they do it but don't like how they do it - I'm waiting for the AEV bumpers to be released - i feel a lot of the stuff at the moment is just retrofitted JK bumpers which I dont really want for my Jeep!
Anyone notice that the new JL Rubicon is being advertised with high fenders now?!
I have ordered mine and itās still on a boat on the way here - itās anyoneās guess what fenders Iām going to get...
I have just ordered a 2.0 Rubicon which should be delivered this month.
Does anyone know if I can swap out the 255/70/17 km3s it comes with to my 285/70/17 KO2s? Would the clearance be ok as we donāt have the high fenders on the front.
I just test drove the 2.0 turbo and I am impressed. This is the first one in Leeds and I have already reserved it as you cannot officially buy until the 12th October.
It is so much more responsive than the 2.8 Diesel I have with my JK. Its quicker and has 400 nm torque which is great...
So I don't understand this.
I am really interested in which bumper we are going to get in the UK. I have the 'park bench' bumper on my JK Overland, the same as the Billit Silver export model shown. But this one has the Euro style back bumper and the US style front Bumper. Is the US style...
