Speaking as a Mech. Eng ;), you'd be surprised at how often factory dual battery setups are not isolated. This may not be the case here, but bean counters are always involved and two dead batteries is one more battery that the dealer can sell you. Hopefully, they did it right but i'm doubtful...

That's how dual batteries are generally set up. If you wire them in parallel you get twice the reserve capacity at the same voltage. If you wire them up in series you get twice the voltage and fry all of your electronics. Nicer aftermarket setups will sometimes include an isolator so that one...

Not true, Magnuson Moss act protects the consumer. If your axle swap directly damaged a component and that could be proven by the dealer, then yeah they won't cover it. Otherwise they're required to cover.

Actually it's not a technicality based on your argument. Your argument was that every Jeep had painted flares before the JK, when that isn't true. They had painted steel fenders, which were part of the body, and then certain premium packages (Sahara or Renegade on the YJ, Sahara on the TJ) came...

The metal bits are fenders. Not flares. Black plastic flares attached to the fenders on the CJ, YJ and TJ. JK introduced the hybrid "flender," as it was jokingly called at the time.

The red accents on the interior are an optional package I believe.

And the Hummer(HMMWV) is a Jeep. Originally, at least. ;)

Zippers get old and crappy, velcro wears out eventually. The less those items are required the better I'd think. Doesn't really matter because someone will just slash your soft top windows anyways to steal your loose change even though it takes 2 seconds to remove the windows. :(
