I've been looking for a while at local dealer lots, even expanded my search, but no luck on the one I'm really hoping for. Either fully loaded or few extras. So after talking with my dealer and mulling it for a while, I figured I would put in an order.
Afternoon all. It's been a hard Friday to try to get work done, got Jeep on my mind lol. Big day tomorrow, going to the dealership to put in my order (crosses fingers).
Man is that configurator bugged. I kept running into that whole V6 & auto trans issue (like many here) while trying to configure a 2 door rubi. Ran into a host of other issues too, yikes.
As a fellow New Yorker, I couldn't agree more lol. A balmy 23° up in my neck of the woods with about 3 inches of the white stuff. News, as usual, made everyone freak out over it lol. It's not like the feet, yes feet, of snow we got last year.
TBH, my biggest debate was hard vs. soft top. I was thinking hard top because of the lovely NY climate but am most likely going with the soft top. I would have it opened up a lot. Want the whole "Jeep experience" lol
So, finally making the decision to put an order in for a 2 dr rubicon next month, if all goes well. Ocean blue metallic w/ LED light package & cold weather. This would be my first time ordering a vehicle so I'm curious as to how the whole process works. Any tips or guidance would be appreciated...
Was wondering if the LED light delay was still a thing. Aiming to place an order for a 2 dr rubi next month and was curious what, if any delays, my delivery time could be. Thanks all.
Awesome! I've been waiting ever so (im)patiently for the 2 doors to start rolling out. Question though, will there be a hold on them like the beginning of the JLU production? Either way, excited to see one of these at a dealer soon, my wallet is already yelling at me lol
Excited for those of you who have put your orders on and I'm sure it's going to be hard to wait! It's going to be a longer wait for me, I'm eventually going for a 2 door JL, options to be decided.
Much better look IMO. The whole split lighting thing was kind of weird lol. Almost looks like they took some ideas from the new Compass for the new headlight styling.
I get where you're coming from here. I've understood from when I first started getting interested in Jeeps that they didn't always have the creature comforts that a normal SUV would have. They're built for customization and off-roading. Yes I understand it's nice to have some modern features...
