Can anyone tell what this clicking/creaking noise is? It seems to mostly happen when I hit small bumps in the road, and I think it’s coming from behind the dash. It’s driving me crazy!!!
After being caught in the rain too many times, I'm pulling the trigger. My concerns are:
1. Can they spray any of the plastic parts? Like the removable pieces where the doors plug in? Or the subwoofer grill that seams to get scratched up?
2. What are my options for the tub lid and back of the...
This has happened a few times now. I park my Jeep outside and use my remote start to warm it up. If it’s below 40 degrees outside, the heated seats and steering will come on along with the AC. However, after letting it start for about 10 min, I get in and the temp reads 50 degrees when it’s 31...
Is it worth it? I have a dog that sheds and get caught in the rain more often than I’d like to admit. What solution have y’all found with the carpeted tub cover? Is Bedtread worth looking into?
Thanks!
Most times I fill up my tank, the gas pump clicks and stops pumping before my tank is full. Sometimes it’ll click a few time right at the beginning, sometimes it’ll be half way through. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix? Surely it’s not user error.
I’ve had my JL for over a year and had my doors off numerous times. All the doors are plugged in (triple checked, unplugged and plugged back in) and it doesn't recognize the doors are back on. Radio doesn’t turn off when I open my doors or anything, plus I get the Blind Spot error mentioned in...
The cab cover states it will fit with the soft top folded down. I tackled it for about 30 minutes and this is the best I could come up with. Maybe it fits fine without any top on, but with my premium soft top folded down, there's just not enough material to cover the gaps. If I pull any harder...
I had a bikini top on my JK, but not convinced I need one for the JL. Riding with the doors off, but top up, gives you that nice open air feeling without the wind noise and sunburn. The dog appreciates the extra shade too. This also allows me to to fully drop the top as the sun is going down...

You may be familiar with my post about my Electronic Throttle Control failure

Here's how everything has unfolded:
Picked up my JLUR on Saturday...
Got up to 78 degrees in Nashville today. Perfect weather to take the doors off for the first time. There is an extra step to unscrew the bolt that allows the door to hinge. Kinda sucks because I usually left the doors unscrewed all summer for quick access. Doesn’t look like you can do that with...
JLUR
Fifteen minutes into my hour ride home from the dealership,my left channnel speakers went out, followed by my right. Rode the remaining way home in silence. Once I got her home and restarted the car, the speakers seemed to work fine.
My girlfriend and I decide to take it for a cruise...
Here's a quick informative video on the capabilities of USB-C. Makes me really glad we have it on the new JL.
USB-C Explained
Highlights include:
1. Reversible (plugs in the right way every time)
2. Can power full size electronics
3. Faster data transfer
4. Universal
5. Smaller
6. It's the...
I love getting the Jeep dirty and leaving her dirty, but when it’s time to wash, how particular are you? I’ve always washed by hand with a bucket and soap, then dried with a chamois.
Recently I’ve seen the chemical guys products used with a pressure washer, then drying with a leaf blower type...
I’d like to get the tow package just for the Aux switches, even though I’m not planning on adding lights anytime soon. I don’t need the hitch or alternator. Do you think it’ll be easy to add the switches later, and will there be cheaper aftermarket options? I’d get them now, but I’m at the end...
