Same here, I sold cars for while and was pretty successful, I didn't have to lie to sell the car, just provide information and a fair price and the car sold itself. FYI left the car business b/c I finished my degree and now I don't have to work weekends:like:
Well now that everyone is involved I will give some closure. Long story short, she lied multiple times:movember:, I called her out:facepalm:, she got an attitude:devil:, I decided to wait for the JLU to be released:beer:, and I will be taking my business elsewhere when I do purchase:piggybank...
There is actually no aftermarket parts on this jeep only factor jeeps parts including the rock rails. Which by the way she lied about because they have been on there for a few months.
I wish they actually had a comparable big bear, but honestly I've heard nothing but bad things about this dealership and the fact she would claim 35k is 200 below invoice shows the culture they have.
Original email sent to sales rep
Email reply from sales rep
So I didn't reply as this is the sticker price and it is even listed $1,000 lower on cars.com
Then the sales manager emails me.
So I reply with....
So we shall see, but I wont pay anywhere close to $36k, so I doubt any...
You are right I was very generic in terms, but I contacted the internet manager via email to see if they will play ball through there since its been on the lot for a while. If not Ill happily wait for a new JLU. Thanks for the replies
For me it is more, wheels and tires, bumpers, lights, etc. as this is a mall crawler and I wheel my TJ. So I would assume the same lug pattern, if the bumper mounts change I can always weld new ones, and lights will go with the bumpers.
I was thinking 27-28k but honestly I wouldnt pay more than 29k for it, I'd just wait on the JLU. I figure at 29k I could probably get around that or maybe more trade in if I decided to get the JLU late next year. Plus alot of the aftermarket parts will be interchangable:turkey:
This is the exact JKU I was looking to purchase before I found out about the new JLU. Big bear edition, auto, nav, power windows and locks, Etc. What would you offer the dealership that would make it worth not waiting on the JLU? Also it has been on the lot for a while.
I just wish they would release a big bear edition for the 18' JL, almost purchased a 17' Big Bear but found out about the new body style right before I was going to purchase.
