How am I supposed to mount my bike rack? I've always preferred the spare tire mounts instead of a hitch mounted rack.

Soft top only for me. I got the dual top on my first Jeep and once spring hit, never put it back on again. Next two jeeps didn't even get a hard top. The minor benefits are just not important to me.

It seems to me that when the top is down, it doesn't exactly lay flat. Looks like it is going to make the view out the rear view mirror a little obstructed.

I only buy two doors and I'm a little frustrated that there are only two options. I don't need everything the Rubicon has and I'm afraid the Sport won't have the options I want. A two door JL Sahara is what I want.

Jeep Chief. Just say that a few times and tell me if it sounds right or not. No way I'm calling it a Jeep Chief. Do the JKs even say Wrangler on them anymore? I know on my TJ the only place you could find the word Wrangler was on the tires before I changed them and on the paperwork.

4 door Jeeps are fine for you guys but I will never own one. 2 door jeep for me!

On my JK, I just emailed all the local dealerships with the list of options I wanted and a price of 3% under invoice. Two told me to come in and lets talk, two didn't reply and one said "we'll do that deal". And that was on a new order not a in stock vehicle so I know nothing was wrong with it...

My last two jeeps were manuals so my JL will be also. I don't do any rock crawling which I think autos excel in and I just would rather be different and shift. Less likely to be stolen or borrowed by my daughter too! :cwl:

I think the covers are just velcrod (velcroed?) on so they just pull it back to reach the handle.

Will ESS and BSG work on manual transmissions as well as automatics?

They always have but only if you have a hard top. I tried to rent one years ago with my soft top TJ and they said no way. Must have a hard top.

My point still stands though. MotorMan said it could be "the best selling pickup in America, and maybe even in the whole world" and I disagreed. In 2016 Jeep sold 191,788 Wranglers. Ford sold 820,799 pickups in 2016. Do you really think they could sell that many Scramblers. I don't. I won't...

I would doubt it. This won't have the towing capacity or hauling capacity of any of the full size trucks. I don't doubt that it will be popular but not the best selling pickup in America or the world.

Which is good because they sure as heck don't need to be heavier.
