Can someone tell me the difference in noise and drivability for the Patagonia MT vs Nitto Ridge Grapplers?
I have Ridge Grapplers on my F150 and the OEM KO2 on my Jeep. The Ridge Grapplers are a tad noisier but not bad They hum between 30 mph and 50 mph but quieten miraculously down to no noise...
Well, figured out after reading this thread that i have been driving 8,000 miles with 6 qts. of oil in the oil pan, the last 500 miles towing a trailer in 95F weather. Changed oil out myself for 5 qts. of Pennzoil Plat. I monitor my engine always with the off-road pages gages and the temps...
I Bought it and am running it on stage 7 (highest). NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I have a 2013 EcoBoost with 480 rwhp and a 335i with 400 hp. My turbos are all tuned and I love the tunability of my truck and cars. There are great piggybacks for the 335i (JBL) but this one is not worth it. hardly a...
This video is all wrong. He's got it all wrong and is checking the engine coolant reservoir and talking about the battery and gen cooling hoses leaking. Those batt/gen reservoirs are the clear ones lower left by the left front fender. Maybe read the manual first DUH!!
Same here ... Had a 99 TJ for a long time, then a 2015 JK Willys half door (still my sig pic). Test drove the 2.0 and the 3.6 and there was no question for me that the 2.0 is the one I like far better. This little engine just scoots. I love turbos. I also have a 2013 F-150 EB with a MPT PRX tune...
I am waiting for the diesel ... that one is probably worse in terms of trying to pencil savings, but I would buy it for the torque and they way the EcoDiesel drives. :)
Here is where my "BS meter" pegs the scale! All this hubbub about the 2.0 having better fuel economy is facade and marketing BS because economically the TCO cost of the 2.0 will never pencil. In our area premium gas is consistently 70 to 80 cents MORE expensive than regular. Take the extra cost...
They will! If you look at BF's tire list the "old" M/T is only available in the Jeep 255 size for the JK. All other sizes have been discontinued and moved on to the KO2. BF has only continued to make them for Rubicons and Willys and that's gonna stop.
I can se the aftermarket already gearing up to put the turn signals back into the grille. I don't like tha change of turn signals into the fenders at all! There was a reason Jeep didn't put them there in the first place.
trust me ... you don't want a a diesel manual. ever driven one? The automatics keep the diesel much better in its power band. Drive a Ram diesel 2500 with manual and then with auto before ordering a JL diesel manual.
No half doors?!? Probably too early to see this showing up, but I want a dual door option rather than a dual top option!! Without half doors, there won't be a JL for me.
