I hope no one was hoping for the Ecodiesel.
Do we know any timeline for at least the EPA numbers for the 4cyl? Honestly for me to still consider the JL the 4cyl needs to get 20city and at least 26hwy. It needs to be at least on par with the turbo subaru's in gas mileage. A reg cab short bed 4x4 f150 with the 2.7 averages 21-22mp on the...
less than that i would say since they will likely only start delivering Jl's in December and the JK will only go till early march, so really only 3 ish months of overlap.
Same as my commute is 80 miles round trip 5 days a week and my current 1.0 fiesta averages 41mpg. The gas mileage figures are what i am waiting on, I hope it gets similar gas mileage to the subaru's.
I mean the ecodiesel doesnt have a manual in any current config so assuming they add it just for the wrangler would be suspect at best. And with the pentestar not changing much it makes sense to assume it will retain the manual and iirc some of the mules have been manual as well.
I would assume the Pentestar and the 4cyl will have the same transmissions so a manual would likely be available alsong with the 8 speed but the Eco-diesel likely will only have an auto.
Im guessing orders start in october with first deliveries in mid december. I assume dealers will be shipped a random selection of JL/JLU's in common configs to be put on the lots asap. And iirc they will still have the JK and JKU's as 2018's per the leaks. So i assume you will be paying msrp...
