The center cap in the wheel pops off for the camera. Your view from the camera will depend on the backspace/offset of the new wheel. I swapped out the stock wheels for a set with 0 offset and the camera catches a bit of the bottom of the wheel... it's not a problem for me since it shows very little.
You got 2 clips in there ...you should be able to gently get a screwdriver in there to press on them. Don't He-Man it out or you'll break the plastic thingies opposite the clips.
Those plastic retainer clips are a pain in the ass and they're $4 each (not a typo). This set on the Amazon has 6.4 & 6.3mm clips that fit. The heads on the 6.4's are the type that will also snap off.
You should be able to find only what you need since 240 pieces may be overkill when you only...
I'm with ya... I liked the look even though I was skeptical of the vulnerability to the elements. Since I'm not that smart, I still wanted to try them out.
I wanted an all-red hood, so I removed & painted the tie-down brackets & hood-ornament bezels . I didn't want to paint the hood...
Oh that's just f*cking great. I ordered them last week... I figured I'd give them a try.
For damn-near close to $200, I wouldn't expect that. Did they have anything so say about it?
Maybe consider a spill mat...easy to clean... I also use a wide funnel over the storage container for when that initial burst shoots forward.
I keep a few of these handy > > > Oopsie!
