I know this is an old thread but wonder if OP @JOKeefe ever found a resolution. I have this same issue on a 2020 Rubicon Manual Trans 3.6L with 8.4. There are other threads I have found but most deal with issues with Carplay or whataver and that isn't my issue.
Mostly happens while backing...
My wife is 5' even and it's a climb for her but she's strong and petite so she doesn't have too much trouble grabbing the handle and hoisting herself in, so your wife should have no problem.
Mine came unattached within a few months of ownership going into winter last year. The epoxy fix that they did has stayed connected for over a year. I will say though that my rear window defrost doesn't seem to get that hot and barely does any defrosting.
The last time I was in for oil...
I would not have posted this or said it was "Great quality" if it was shit, lol. Seriously though, I am glad you liked it. I was impressed and that is why I shared it.
Well your foot is already on the brake pedal so not sure putting the p-brake on first does much more as far as stabilization of the vehicle than that but just seems like a logical order to do it in.
I have been driving manuals since I was 18 and I have definitely done that once or twice. Same as you my P-Brake was applied already so no major harm. I generally follow the procedure of park, p-brake, first gear, and then kill engine. If I am facing downhill on a really steep hill I might...
No, I ordered it with the belt clip. It does not come with the carabiner/snap clip as that is a separate option. The belt clip version does not have the tab at the top the snap clip would attach to.
You basically choose either the belt clip, the snap clip or no clip at all.
No affiliation with this but thought it was cool and fit a need I had. I have found the Jeep key to be annoying to have in my pocket, especially in the summer months, when I am wearing shorts. I don't like to carry a lot of crap in my front pockets anyway, so was wondering if someone made a...
Well, you aren't wrong about that to an extent. I believe he took to the road after his divorce. But he's been on the road alone a long time now. He has said in some past episodes that it's hard to meet people while living that lifestyle but that he was looking for someone to share his life...
I like Brad and I like his channel, though I can see some of the criticism here as being valid. I also agree the channel was maybe a bit better earlier on. He is a gear hound for sure and likes to constantly swap things out. But at the same time he does thorough reviews so there are some...
Couldn't pass this one up... Pulled into Home Depot in Plaistow NH and these three 2-door JKs on the right were all lined up so I backed in and snapped the pic. Mine is first on the left.
I know this is an older thread but it helped me with Apple Car Play and Waze. Same issue. I thought my speakers were going out as they would mute on the left channel. It didn't occur to me right away that I wasn't hearing the directions. Once I realized it I tried messing with settings...
I agree with what @DanW said above. I love the MT in my 2020 JLUR with the 3.6. I don't find the gearing bad at all (except for 6th) but I do also have the 4.10 with the Rubicon.
You do have to learn to rev a bit at the start in 1st. Again as he said, if you have driven a manual for a long...
