Spoke to a shop today that has some quite a bit of 4:88 and 5:13 in JLs. He said can’t go wrong with either for my driving habits and 37” tires. Said mpg would be slightly better with 4:88, but will still have some gear hunting here in the hills of WV. Fuel economy is of zero concern for me, and...
Going back to our convo on page 20, I finally got a chance to put stock pcm in, and have no codes. All the pins on the replacement pcm was fine, no damage.
With the constant codes I was getting, is this pcm any good? It has the same serial number as the stock that came in the jeep as well if...
I had the option to buy the one allocation from my local dealer at msrp. We discussed trading in my 18 JLUR that I bought from them, and swapping everything over to the 392, lift, wheels/tires/bumpers/winch etc. I was on board to do that...and then he called me and said the GM would not take a...
Same here. Paid 42 for ours. doesn't include the 10+ in extras I have tho. So let's say 52+30 for the swap, and you have a lifted hemi...with NO warranty tho. I would think the warranty from FCA would be worth a lot when things start breaking on these.
siap... OP, someone's been reading these posts, lol

There have been quite a few that come and go. Upon one scan, it said “too many error codes, please contact dealer”, lol.
These are the two that are always present, even after clearing.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I keep getting multiple codes with this tuner. I am swapping my oem pcm back in sometime to see if its a tune issue, or the pcm I received from them? I'm guessing, if the codes persist, it's a jeep issue, and not pcm?
I guess my other option would be continue to run...
Let me ask this...
I have an unlocked pcm that I bought with my superchip flashcal, can I send that one in after returning to stock to be tuned, and use my oem pcm while its being programmed? If so, what is the cost of the tune only? Thanks.
This is actually one of the reasons I held off on the 392, and decided to go for a second year model. I literally just finsihed our JLUR this summer the way I want it. Initial plan was to trade in and swap everything over, but still no clue what will interchange. I have after market rear bumper...
No, but you can order soft top only. I was going to just keep my non painted hard top and use. Decided I simply cannot commit to buying something without knowing the price however.
Same here. Our 18 JLUR has had 37's for 16,500 of its 17k miles, and our steering is tight as can be. I drove my buddies sport on 37s before he had the box replaced and it was like driving a damn boat, all over the place. His tightened up after they put a new one on.
So talked to my salesman today, we built one out and leather was NOT an option.
GM wouldnt agree to msrp, or under. Wants to wait to see what other dealers are getting above msrp before price is placed.
Told them to forget about it.
The one and only dealer I spoke to said they have one allocated. They did not want to take a deposit or try to order until they know for a fact they’ll get it.
My guess is, I’m a repeat buyer, that always buys under invoice, and they alluded to selling over msrp in which I said I won’t be doing...
Could have been misinterpretation on my part, but I thought I read they will only come with a painted hard top? There again, there's the option for body colored hard top as well.
